This Corporate Efficiency situated in the heart of Mt Vernon provides an awesome place to call home while in Baltimore during the week. Now fully furnished, this one has always been a charmer.
Looking for guests to stay here by the week in Baltimore to work, study, intern, or research while in a convenient location or by the month as needed.
As a second cousin to the Belvedere, this Beaux Arts gem boasts a 24-hour front desk and an awesome roof deck. Monthly parking is available from one of the neighborhood lots or on the streets during nights and weekends, otherwise you're subject to a two-hour restriction.
Laundry service available onsite as well as a convenient store with direct access from the basement (you can shop in your pajamas if you want).
You'll be steps away from dining, entertainment, museums, and the arts, which make this neighborhood a premiere destination for people from all walks of life.
Parking is available in the buliding garage with direct access to the lobby on a monthly basis at $140/month with a $70 deposit. You can arrange this very conveniently at the 24-hour front desk when you check in. There's street parking in the evenings and on weekends and other public lots as well for less. Public transpotation and the Hopkins Shuttle work well too.
If you plan to stay less than a month, the daily parking across the street at $7/day in the open lot is your best bet. When you get there, you can call the number on the sign to make arrangements. You can see this lot from the front of the building on the opposite side of the street and to the right.
So, so glad I found this place! I was in Baltimore for ten days, and it was so nice to have a real "home." The studio is super convenient in terms of location to downtown: I had a conference at the convention center in the Inner Harbor, and the 003 bus stop was literally a block away and took me directly down to the center in about fifteen minutes, twenty at the peak of rush hour; the few nights I had to go back for receptions and wasn't as comfortable taking the bus (at night, it can get...iffy), a taxi ride was between seven to ten bucks including tip--not bad at all! It's an easy bus ride anywhere, really, and Mount Vernon itself has got FANTASTIC Indian restaurants on Charles just a few minutes walk away--or for delivery!--if you are staying in the studio. For the flat itself, it isn't the fanciest (then again, neither is my apartment back home!), but the bed was really comfy and the water in the shower is blissfully hot...and Patrick has an iron (I left behind some Febreeze if you need to freshen a garment!). I really appreciated that he had a fan in the apartment, too, since I'm a white noise sleeper, so I was really excited to see that. Best of all, Patrick was so flexible about check in and out times, it worked perfect with my weird conference schedule; I even was able to easily amend my original reservation when I found out I had the dates wrong, which was such a relief. Two thumbs up for Patrick and this little home in Baltimore!
Excellent studio! Great confort, and utilities. I stayed for a week or so and had a great experience.
Patrick was super helpful and always answered my emails in no time.
I have stayed here twice. The apartment and location are perfect. There is even a free bus stop to take you to the inner harbor They neighborhood has interesting restaurants and Starbucks is nearby. Will stay again next year for business if available.
This apartment is adorable! In a great location right near Penn Station, the apartment has windows on three sides and is bright and welcoming with great views. It was absolutely perfect for my stay in Baltimore, which included some commuting to DC via the MARC train. I really enjoyed cooking in the bright kitchen. It is a smaller space, but studio is set up extremely well to maximize the space - it was easy to live comfortably for the week. Patrick is a very responsive host and the check-in process was seemless. Great value.
I stayed in this lovely Mt Vernon studio while in between leases in Baltimore. It was the perfect size and conveniently located. Within easy walking distance to several restaurants and bars, and also right in front of the Circulator bus stop (Baltimore's free transportation system) which gets you downtown and into other cool neighborhoods like Federal Hill, Harbor East, Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Canton.
One of my favorite things was watching the sunset from the apartment windows, most definitely a wonderful sight and gave me several great pictures for Instagram. I'd happily stay here again or recommend to a friend :)
Patrick was nice and helpful! The apartment was very well located and with everything you need. My only issue was that when I came in the cleaning was not done very well and I had to do some cleaning myself. I pointed this out to Patrick and he was very responsive since he does not do the cleaning himself and cannot always check the apartment before the next person comes in. Also he sent me a gift for the holidays since I was there during Christmas - this was very kind and generous of him
Patrick's place was a lovely studio in a great part of town and easy walk 20min walk to the harbor or take the free bus right out side the apt. It was exactly what I wanted for my trip. Thanks!
Patrick who would go out of his way to accommodate you. Very approachable. Very cozy and modern apartment with a nice view of the city and nearby shopping.
Great price, great location. I would had extended for a month stay if it had been available.
GREAT. Exceeded my expectations - wonderful location. Safe, interesting, walking neighborhood. Will plan all of my future visits to Baltimore on its availability.
