The room: 18 m2, painted in red and white...double bed (160x200), air condictioned, balcony, TV, internet, wireless, double panes (very silent at night), wardrobe, desk...
The flat: attic, 70 square meters, very bright, central heating, wide dining room with TV, bathroom, kitchen, hall
The area where the flat is located is called Castro Pretorio, one of the most central and comfortable of Rome. The main station is 200m away, and so are dozens of buses, the 2 metro lines, and all the main attractions (Colosseo, Fori Imperiali, Pantheon, etc etc) are reachable by feet
The whole area is 100% safe (the flat is in the same building of CSM, few meters away from the Transportation Ministry, and some other important agencies)
Just beside the flat, several restaurants, pizzerie and bars are available, and all of the them are much cheaper than in the touristic areas. If you want to walk only 10', than you have also the San Lorenzo area and the Monti district, where you will find hundreds of places to eat cheap
The flat offers you a great combination of both location and comforts. Everything you need is close at hand, the area is safe, the flat both wide and modern. To understand it, just check out the pictures of the flat, and than the location on a map...
Sirio welcome me and my husband on the night we arrived he event gave us a ride to placer to eat
Sirio provides handy, well-located, clean accommodations. Right near the Termini station. Sirio was very kind to help us getting to and around Rome. While he wasn't there when we were, he answered all emails immediately.
Sirio thanks for tips and recommendation. Ice cream, pizza were the best!
We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. There are two rooms in this apartment. We stayed in the bigger room for 5 days. The other smaller room is empty during our stay.
The apartment is very artistic. Obviously Sirio has many artistic hobbies. There are lots of books, tapes etc. in the apartment. From the window you can see the street.
very near to Termini, cheap price, super-fast wifi, cozy bed and sofa, lots of sunshine
Water for flushing the toilet is too weak! A bit difficult to use the kitchen, washing machine a bit dirty.
Be sure to get a map (4 eur in Termini) before meeting Sirio, it is much easier to locate everything. It took us two days to find a normally priced supermarket to buy Shampoo and soap. The one on the -1 floor of Termini is too expensive.
Sirio was very kind to help us getting to and around Rome, he responds to all enquiries promptly and was there to greet us even if we arrived late in the evening. The room is vary spacious and clean. The apartment itself is well located, 5 minutes away from Termini train station and within walking distance to the Colosseum and Forum (or take a short tube ride). Sirio also gave us useful tips and recommendations for our visit in Rome. All in all it was a great airbnb experience, thank you Sirio!
My stay at Sirio's place was lovely although it was only for a night.
Location-wise, the apartment was an easy walk From Roma Termini and not at all difficult to find. There are several restaurants downstairs or near the apartments and it is quite lively there at night!
The room itself was clean and also very comfortable.
However, the thing I was most happy about was Sirio himself! He was always easy to contact over airbnb and from my enquiry to booking to check in, he was very much friendly, accommodating and involved. Sirio was also kind enough to point out attractions to me on a map of Rome when I arrived and even ran through the doors, keys and locks of the apartment with me (kinda important because I would have struggled to open the doors without him showing me, the doors are a little old).
Overall I would definitely recommend staying here, not only for the location and comfort but also for Sirio because he is a helpful host :)
Sirio was fantastic!! He explained how to get around and pointed out the cheap and good places to have our meal! The place is clean and we are not restricted in doing anything
The reservation was canceled 45 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
