About this listing
The room: 18 m2, painted in red and white...double bed (160x200), air condictioned, balcony, TV, internet, wireless, double panes (very silent at night), wardrobe, desk...
The flat: attic, 70 square meters, very bright, central heating, wide dining room with TV, bathroom, kitchen, hall
The area where the flat is located is called Castro Pretorio, one of the most central and comfortable of Rome. The main station is 200m away, and so are dozens of buses, the 2 metro lines, and all the main attractions (Colosseo, Fori Imperiali, Pantheon, etc etc) are reachable by feet
The whole area is 100% safe (the flat is in the same building of CSM, few meters away from the Transportation Ministry, and some other important agencies)
Just beside the flat, several restaurants, pizzerie and bars are available, and all of the them are much cheaper than in the touristic areas. If you want to walk only 10', than you have also the San Lorenzo area and the Monti district, where you will find hundreds of places to eat cheap
The flat offers you a great combination of both location and comforts. Everything you need is close at hand, the area is safe, the flat both wide and modern. To understand it, just check out the pictures of the flat, and than the location on a map...
The apartment was in a very good location, with very easy access to Termini station and the metro/bus system. The room was spacious and just what we wanted. Although we never actually met Sirio, his friend who was looking after the place whilst he was away was helpful with questions. The air conditioning in the bedroom was very useful!
The host canceled this reservation 18 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The room is spacious with a small balcony. It was very close to Termini Station which makes it super convenient to travel around. There are many choices of restaurants right downstairs, our favorites were Pizzerria Del Secolo and Mamma Angela’s Trattoria. On Friday night, it got really loud because of the bars/restaurants downstairs, but surprisingly Saturday it was quiet. We did not meet Sirio the entire time as he rented out both of his rooms. Although not present, he was responsive via messaging. We arrived much later than anticipated because our flight got cancelled, and Sirio was understanding and accommodating by leaving the keys with the local Pizzeria. The major complaint I have is for the toilet, its flushing was extremely weak. The washer was also broken during our stay. Overall a pleasant stay.
Sirio is a nice host.he introduced a lot about trip in Roma for us.The room is big and clean, very close to termini station. We had good time in Roma and Sirio's room.thanks.
The room is close to Termini station which is just a 5-7 minutes walk away. Sirio was welcoming and informative and let us know of where to find cheap and good food as well as the really nice Gelato which is a 10 minutes walk away. The room is big and the bed is comfortable, the area can get a little 'happening' at night with the many restaurants and bars around but aren't a bother at all. Overall, a really nice place to stay and easy to get around Rome from, but the shower and toilet is a little small.
Very good location, 3 minutes away from Termini Station from which all main tourist sites can be easily reached. Sirio was welcoming and helped us with ways to get to Ostia and Tivoli. He also gave us his details in case we needed additional help - luckily we didn't . The flat was clean, the only downside is the bathroom, with the shower being clogged during the first days (Sirio fixed this pretty fast - thanks), and with the toilet we had to use a bucket to help the flush which is not very strong. Our room was very nice, it has a small balcony, which was great to drink wine from at night. In general we're happy that we chose Sirio's flat and we had awesome holidays, we recommend the apartment to everyone!
