Sherrie's place is an extremely restful and relaxing home. With two wonderful cats and other Airbnb guests around the home, her place is a friendly atmosphere for everyone staying there. She provided me with a bedroom and bed and when I had to stay longer she was extremely flexible! Her apartment is close to the PATH and I found it a great place to stay for a week.
Sherrie is a great host. The bed is comfortable. Overall is a great stay.
And the cats are cute!
Sherrie was very nice and welcoming. The room was comfortable and the apartment clean, though a little run down.
Firstly, I want to say thanks to Sherrie for a great experience in Jersey! Sherrie was a very attentive host and made sure to answer any questions we had about NYC and Jersey. She also recommended this awesome bagel shop on the corner of Columbus and Jersey which we got food from almost every day. The room was adequate and the bathroom was clean. I never felt unsafe coming back to our place from NYC, even at 3-4 am after a night of partying. The one comment that I had was that if you plan to stay in Jersey City for an extended period of time (we stayed for 12 days), be prepared to spend extra money on train fare for the PATH even if you get an unlimited pass for NYC. They operate on separate budgets I think. Overall, everything was as I expected, though taking the PATH train to Jersey past midnight tended to take more like 45 minutes than 15!
Very nice stay. Gracious and friendly host, comfortable bed and good location.
This was my first time with airbnb and it was more than what I expected. Sherrie's place really felt like home and it was a real pleasure to share some moments with her. She is a very welcoming host and very easy to talk to. The apartment is very close to the Path which will take you straight to downtown New York in 15 min. The bed is super comfortable, the neighbourhood is safe and nice to explore, a very nice experience overall. I highly recommend it!
It's a really good place and very close to Manhattan downtown, just 6 minutes by Path. Sherrie is a very nice host, she will provide you some suggestions if you need. By the way, her cats are really cute.
