This is such a comfortable place to stay and Maire made us feel really welcome right down to providing a welcome pack so that we didn't have go rush out for milk etc before unpacking. Maire also kept in touch with us during our stay. As nothing went wrong, we didn't need her but lovely to know that help was there if needed. The house is much larger than it looks with everything you need - definitely a home from home. Good location for exploring Mayo, Galway & Sligo. On a bus route, close to main road, really close to Knock airport but not on a flight path. Extremely good value & we would stay again when visiting Kilkelly.

Maire is a very nice and lovely person she made us more than welcome. She was easy to reach any time, check in and out was quick. We had a great stay at her place it was very convenient to have had our day trips to the Atlantic and to Sligo as well as to Westport and Castlebaer. We would highly recommend to stay at Marie's house. Thank you very much Marie for everything and having made us more than welcome. Best regards Robert

My brother, sister and I stayed here for three nights. It was absolutely fabulous. Maire met us on arrival, gave us loads of local information, as well as providing some details of nearby restaurants, etc. She also provided lots of food items, which were quite unexpected but very welcome. Her home is lovely, and she is a tremendous host. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend Maire.

I worked in Dublin for over 30 years and in London for 5 years. I have visited a few European countries, and Turkey, Nigeria, Japan and USA (San Francisco, Washington DC and New York). I am married and retired and I don't get the opportunity to travel abroad as much as I would like to. But touring around Ireland is lovely too, especially along the West coast and going to venues where traditional Irish music is played, mostly in pubs late at night. I speak Irish (Gaelic) quite well.
I also enjoy classical music events mainly in the National Concert Hall in Dublin and visit London now and then. I attended the last two Leonard Cohen concerts in Dublin.
