Marie was very kind and travelled an hour to greet us on the first evening. The kids and I loved the house. Maire had everything we needed in the house and more. It was all so welcoming for us and our little dogs. Thank you for making our holiday so good. This was my first experience with Air bnb. Anne
Maire made us feel very welcome in her house. The communication before arrival was good. The house was big and clean, very close to the airport. We had everything we wanted. We would definitely recommend her! Thanks for everything Maire!
About the Host, Maire
I worked in Dublin for over 30 years and in London for 5 years. I have visited a few European countries, and Turkey, Nigeria, Japan and USA (San Francisco and New York). I am married and retired and I don't get the opportunity to travel abroad much now. But touring around Ireland is lovely too, especially along the West coast and going to venues where traditional Irish music is played, mostly in pubs late at night. I speak Irish (Gaelic) quite well.
I also enjoy classical music events mainly in the National Concert Hall in Dublin and visit London for shopping and shows now and then. Also like jazz (Cork annual Jazz Festival coming up end Oct.) and attended the last two Leonard Cohen concerts in Dublin.
