The house is in the Hollywood Hills in Laurel Canyon. We are 10 minutes from the Sunset Strip, Walk of Fame, very close to Universal Studios.
About a 30 minute drive to Santa Monica Beach, downtown, Korea Town and China town.
The room is private with shared bathroom, very cozy. We have a carport for parking, but there is also street parking available in our very quiet safe street.
Mark and I really enjoyed staying with Elizabeth and Gabriel. They were great hosts and had such a beautiful home. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. This was our first time using airbnb and after such a wonderful experience, it definitely won't be our last!
nous avons passés un agréable séjour chez Elisabeth dans un endroit calme et serein appréciable après une journée de marche dans Los Angeles.
merci a vous ainsi que pour le café du matin
we spent a pleasant stay Elisabeth in a calm and serene place significant after a day walking in Los Angeles.
thank you to you as well as for morning coffee
Elizabeth and Gabriel are very kind people! I really enjoyed staying at their place for 5 nights with my boyfriend. The house is charming, the neighborhood is quiet and for me the highlight is the stunning view from the balcony - and the hummingbirds! Every morning I used to spend some time admiring these tiny birds. The room was very clean (as well as the entire house), the wifi connection worked well and the communication with Elizabeth was perfect. Also, Gabriel's coffee is delicious! I highly recommend this place.
Hope to stay here again the next time I'm in LA!
Very comfortable and clean room,We love here, next time will choose.
Here are the best home in my trip.
You must come here.
I was new to AirBnB, but ready to get out of the hotel grind when I needed a place for a couple of nights in L.A. My situation may be different from most people; I lived in Laurel Canyon for ten years, and it holds many fond memories for me. When I saw a chance to wind up those curvy, narrow streets again and stay in a classic Laurel Canyon hillside house, I went for it. Elizabeth and Gabriel are very, very sweet and kind hosts. They were working long days during my stay, but I wasn't the kind of guest who needed attention or suggestions for things to do. They are considerate people, and they made so little noise that I felt like I had the house to myself. I had long days away from the house, also, so my experience was mostly about saying hello and goodbye and getting very peaceful sleep. I personally wouldn't take a big car on most of the residential streets of Laurel Canyon, and if twists and turns in general aren't your thing, you might want to read a little bit about this magical and storied neighborhood to get a feel for it. But loving the canyon as I do, this was a delightful and very natural fit. The house is homey and restful, the room is thoughtfully prepared for guests, all the amenities are there, the water pressure in the shower is strong -- really, this is a gem, and the hosts are extremely considerate people.
I spent 3 nights at the home of Elizabeth and Gabriel and can honestly say that it was my best AirBnB-stay yet. The house is situated in a quite and wonderful area of LA, close to Sunset Boulevard. It was absolutely clean and I felt comfortable all the the time. The two hosts are such friendly people. They made me breakfast the first morning, helped me out everytime I had a question and the communication was perfect all the time.
Thank you for the great stay!
Elizabeth and Gabriel are such warm and inviting hosts. Their home is tucked away in the Hills and very peaceful. The view from the balcony is heavenly and blessed with the presence of beautiful hummingbirds. They supplied everything I needed - towels, blow dryer, even coffee in the morning. The bed is very comfortable so I slept like a baby! The only thing I didn't have was cell phone service, but I was able to connect to wifi so it worked out. I hope to stay here again the next time I'm in LA. I highly recommend this as a trusted place to stay during your trip.
Everything was exactly as described. Elizabeth and her husband are wonderful hosts and I would not hesitate to stay with them again while visiting LA in the future. Thanks!
Elizabeth and her husband were amazing hosts! One night they generously shared their meal after I said it looked great; what more can you expect :) Location is great, view is amazing not mentioning the hummingbirds flying all over on the patio.
Summary: Caring, Comfortable, & Convenient
While I would say that both Elizabeth & Gabriel are incredible hosts, I feel as if that would diminish the truth. They are incredible people! Though our interactions were brief due to a severe lack of time, I found them to be genuine, caring, & gracious.
Prior to arriving, I received very precise directions from Elizabeth. Though I arrived later than expected, both Elizabeth & Gabriel were exceedingly welcoming. Most immediately, I felt very much at home. The house in itself is a great experience; a tidy house smelling of vanilla orchids with great natural light pouring in from the sliding glass door that leads to the balcony that overlooks the Los Angeles hills. I mustn't forget to add how great the actual location is! Though it's close to most everything in L.A., you wouldn't know that whilst in the house. While the L.A. chaos sits just below, their house remains serene, safe & comfortable! Elizabeth also had an array of food available in the morning, all in which was presented for me & my guest.
(She also gave us soap & all materials needed for the forgetful traveler. ;-) )
All in all, it was an unbeatable experience. I will be staying with them during my upcoming trips. :-)
