WOW. I knew David wasn’t happy that his new home wasn’t ready to move into, and I knew that he wasn’t happy that he and his wife had to rent temporarily, and that according to him, my place “was the only one available,” but I had no idea he would be vindictive about it. David and Kathie came to see the place 3 weeks prior to moving in. He knew exactly what he was getting. He knew there wasn’t a TV, clock radio or nightstand and he knew the bathroom wasn’t attached to the bedroom, yet he and his wife still moved in.
When I questioned him about this review, the one and only negative review I have ever received, he claimed he left it because I wouldn’t let him cancel his reservation. As you can see, I have a moderate cancellation policy, which means he could have cancelled with a full refund. Instead of doing so, he moved in and left me a bad review. Sounds like yet another in a series of poor decisions on his part. Nice guy!
I would encourage you to ignore this mean spirited review and look at all of the others from glowing guests who understand what Airbnb is all about ... and it isn't privacy.
