Interaction with Guests
We live in the unit just above, so we are just a doorknock away!
Mile-End is definitely a hotspot in Montreal. Everything and anything is available on foot. Restaurants, cafés, bakeries (croissants, baguettes, bagels), groceries, nightlife, galleries.. The Mont-Royal is less than a block away, so strolls or x-country skiing in the forest can be a daily routine. Street festivals and the big festivals are always taking place close by.
Cars aren't exactly compatible with city living, so they are best left at the parking spot provided. The 80 bus can get downtown in 10 minutes and goes by at least every 10 (website hidden)-Royal metro is a 20 minute walk down lively Mt-Royal ave. Bixi bikes are bountiful in the vicinity, and are a very pleasant and affordable way to get around.
Other Things to Note
If you are looking for the neighbourhood that's happening in Montreal, this is it !
Strictly non-smoking, and we ask that guests take their shoes off at the entrance in order to ensure cleanliness and better air quality in the studio.
We enjoyed our stay at this studio very much! The hostess was there when we arrived to give us the key and to show us where to park our car. The studio is beautiful, clean and very well furnished. We had everything we needed and more. The amenities are modern and tasteful. Pictures are true to reality.
The location is perfect for visiting the interesting neighbourhoods of Montreal and there is lots to see just in walking distance. In fact, the best that Montreal has to offer is only steps away.
We definitely recommend staying here.

My hosts were great. The place was great. The studio is large and airy with a large dining room table, a small kitchen, and nice bathroom. Internet was perfect. The place is right on the street so you'd think there would be noise - but there was none at all. The location for me was perfect. You can find shopping and restaurants by just stepping out the door. If you are vegetarian or vegan, there are a good number of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. There is no question I would stay at Emmanuel's again
Emmanuel and Sophie were great. Very friendly and accomodating with my fluctuating schedule. Sophie was very helpful and had wonderful suggestions for places to eat and drink in Montreal.
The location is perfect! Close to cafe's, restaurants, public transit, and Mount Royal.
The studio is gorgeous and was just the perfect size for the my husband and I to enjoy our stay in Montreal.
I highly recommend staying in their studio!
The apartment is great! Sophie made our arrival easy, she is incredibly warm, welcoming, and very accomodating. She has great restaurant recomendations as well. The apartment is very spacious and has everything we could have needed for our stay. I would highly recommend this and will to my friends and family for their next trip to Montreal!
The apartment was exactly as it appeared to be in the photos. It was clean and well maintained. The owners made good use of the space, featuring a compact kitchen and mexican(?) style bathroom-shower.
This was one of our favourite apartments. It has a lovely big, open feeling with high ceilings and tastefully furnished. It was also warm and comfortable, even in very wintry outdoor conditions. In particular, we found the bed to be the most comfortable we've stayed in for ages.
The location is in a great neighbourhood, and close enough to central Montreal to walk in if you choose. our experience was greatly aided by the recommendations
provided in the apartment - we ate in 4 of these, and all were excellent.
And most importantly, Emmanuelle and Sophie were helpful, courteous and relaxed hosts. We felt very welcome, and would love to go back.
