Our spacious and comfortable LEED Platinum studio is a haven in the heart of Montreal. It is blocks away from some of the coolest spots in the city, and at the corner of Mt-Royal park. Foodies have months of discoveries in the immediate vicinity.

Interaction with Guests
We live in the unit just above, so we are just a doorknock away!
Mile-End is definitely a hotspot in Montreal. Everything and anything is available on foot. Restaurants, cafés, bakeries (croissants, baguettes, bagels), groceries, nightlife, galleries.. The Mont-Royal is less than a block away, so strolls or x-country skiing in the forest can be a daily routine. Street festivals and the big festivals are always taking place close by.
Cars aren't exactly compatible with city living, so they are best left at the parking spot provided. The 80 bus can get downtown in 10 minutes and goes by at least every 10 (website hidden)-Royal metro is a 20 minute walk down lively Mt-Royal ave. Bixi bikes are bountiful in the vicinity, and are a very pleasant and affordable way to get around.
Other Things to Note
If you are looking for the neighbourhood that's happening in Montreal, this is it !
Strictly non-smoking, and we ask that guests take their shoes off at the entrance in order to ensure cleanliness and better air quality in the studio.
Lovely flat exactly as described. We had a wonderful stay at Emmanuel and Sophie's and it was a perfect base from which to explore Montreal. Easy communication and friendly welcome. Be sure to stop by Billy Waxman's espresso bar/tailor/barber shop next door for the insider scoop and lots of great local recommendations for restaurants/bars/cafes. The Mexican shower (no separate shower stall) was not our favorite amenity (everything in the bathroom gets wet after a shower, and bathroom gets pretty musty too), but the set-up was exactly as advertised, so we knew ahead of time and were okay with it.
The place has a very European feel. A quaint studio and the owners are lovely and very accommodating. It's well situated being adjacent to Mile End and St Laurent street as well as the beautiful Mont Royal.
Friendly hosts, great location, beautiful apartment; what more can I say? Our stay at the Eco Studio helped make our weekend stay in Montreal a memorable one. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting for the weekend or longer!
Great Studio. Super clean and exactly as advertised. Centrally located by mount royale and for going out to great restaurants. Being able to park in Montreal for free was a big added benefit as street parking in the city is confusing and parking in a lot normally costs about $20 a day. Also, the hosts were extremely responsive, accommodating to our needs to check in at a time other than what was stated and considerately left many different suggestions for restaurants to visit. We visited two of the suggested restaurants and were extremely pleased.
A really beautiful apartment in a great neighbourhood of Montreal. Lots of useful suggestions for places nearby as well, so we had a great time!
We had a great stay here. The studio is fully equipped, with lots of light and plenty of room for 2. We parked when we arrived and spent the rest of our stay in the immediate neighbourhood, going for walks through Mt Royal Park or visiting brewpubs and restaurants (highlights: Dieu du Ciel for great beer, Beauty's for a good basic breakfast or Faberge for a fancier one, and Ramado's for Portuguese chicken) and window shopping.
There is a large dining table which would be great if you had friends over, or you could take some food and have a picnic in the park which is only a block away. We didn't use the kitchen much but it had everything you'd need.
Highly recommended, we'd stay here again.
This beautiful apartment was spotless, well supplied, comfortable, everything we look for in a home away from home. It is even more attractive and spacious than it appears in the photos. It was quiet for a first floor space in a major city. Sophie couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful. Groceries are nearby and restaurants and cafes only steps away. We took advantage of the tourist pass to travel by bus and metro around the city cheaply. The bus is at the corner and the metro is several blocks or you can take the bus to the metro. This is a great place to stay, we would come back in a heartbeat.
