Simple and cozy room, located at the top of a typical Parisian building, close to the metro, the market and all the shops, and ten minutes from the Sacré Coeur, the highest point of Montmartre, and the famous flea-marlet, the Puces de Saint Ouen.
I offer you to stay at my place when I am not home. My room is located behind the butte Montmartre, 10 minutes from Sacré-Coeur and 2 minutes from the metro line 4 that crosses Paris from North to South, very practical to go everywhere. A lot of cheap supermarkets in the neighborhood, and the market on the boulevard takes place every tuesday, friday and sunday.
Here you'll have your own private room. At the opposite side of the apartment there is an other room occupied by Aude, my roommate.
There is a 2 places bed, a table and some space to put your stuff. It is for 2 people maximum!
The apartment is very practical so you can freely access the bathroom and the kitchen, where you can use anything you want, like the washing-machine or the hair dryer. You also have a free Wifi access (possibly Ethernet if needed).
There is a small elevator like everywhere in old parisian buildings, very typical : don't be afraid, it works fine!
Clean sheets and towels are at disposal.
Please don't forget that this is no hostel but a room at somebody's place, thank you!
Metro: line 4 and 12
Bus: line (phone number hidden)
- you have your own key so you can get in and out any time you want, without needing the door codes.
- you can use anything you need for cooking in the kitchen, if you stay a few days and want to bring your own food
- you can clean your clothes using the washing machine. Sometimes, drying can take one or two days, depending on the weather outside. But there is a laundry down the street where you can dry your clothes quickly (1 euro for 10 minutes).
The apartment was easy to get to from the airport and in a good location - a short walking distance to the centre of Montmartre and the metro is just around the corner.
Aude was working a lot of the time that we spent in the apartment, but she was very welcoming and her cat was very attentive. The flat and our room were tidy and the bed was comfortable. We spent most of each day out exploring the city, so it was great just to come back and easily relax.
We would highly recommend it!
The flat is in a good location, considering that there is a subway station very close (5 mins) from which you can reach the historical centre easily. You can find several shops nearby (one of them in front of the building) where you can print your boarding pass if you need to. We felt a bit embarrased, at first, because we caused a little problem concerning the keys, but after that the ambience was better.
Aude was there from the beginning and wrote a couple of notes with important info about the flat and her cat (who was so lovely). However, the floor was very creaky and we had to step carefully to not to bother anyone; Aude didn't complain, anyway. She also offered us some tea and coffee, lent us an umbrella and tried to make us feel comfortable.
The zone has got plenty of shops, restaurants, a McDonald's, groceries and more, so you can buy whatever you need near the flat easily and just cook, if you prefere that option.
To conclude, although the flat is little, the room they give us is very comfortable and big. You have a desk where you can find a lot of information about Paris such as metro maps, Paris maps and turism guides.
Merci de tout!
We stayed at Aude's apartment for 10 days and found it to be just as advertised
While it is small, it is functional and you have access to the kitchen and washing machine
The metro is a 2 minute walk from the apartment on line 4 or a 10 minute walk to line 12...not a far journey into the heart of Paris
and You must love cats if you stay here as Agamenon rules the roost
Cool location near Montmartre et Batignolle (new Trendy área) flea market as well
Aude and her cat are friendly and great hosting
If i come back I keep in touch With Aurelien
Had a great stay! Didn't get to interact with the host much as she had a very busy work schedule but we felt super welcomed and right at home!she was super accomdating to any needs we had and Her cat was adorable and we loved snuggle time with him haha. The elevator was an experience!!! But we loved it and it's a great little apartment. A street away from the metro and easy to get around, right near the sacre cour church and montmartre.... Loved our stay in Paris. Would highly recommend :)!
My friend and I had a very nice stay at Aurélien & Aude's apt. It is very conveniently situated a few minutes walking distance to Sacre Coeur and Montmatre and to Metro and train stations. The room was nice and comfortable and they were very nice hosts.
We had a great experience in this lovely Parisian Apt. Aude and Aurelien's instructions to receive the keys were precise and exact.
It was very close to the metro in a safe neighbourhood. We first met Aude who was very welcoming and nice. We were able to cook and make our own meals. They have a cute and friendly cat named Agar. Their wifi is not very good so if you need to get work done, it may be difficult. On the last day we met Aurelien and he was very friendly. We felt like we received a true Parisian experience while staying in this apt. We would definitely stay here again and we recommend it to you.
Bienvenue à Paris ! Ma colocataire Aude et moi-même espérons que votre séjour sera agréable et que vous repartirez avec de très bons souvenirs de la Capitale!
You're welcome ! My roommate - Aude - and I hope that you will have a great stay and leave with wonderful memories about France!
