105 West Guest House Presents “The Office”

This 130 year old Victorian has had many iterations and this renovated former office is it's best yet. Vibrant and comfortable with a distinctly city vibe, you will feel the heartbeat of Newport. In this location you will experience the amazing city. With tinted privacy windows you will have an incredible view and with the shades drawn your place will be a private oasis. With coveted parking!

The space
This unique space with large bay windows, wide-plank floors, distressed counters and a barn door was originally a reading room back in 1895. The house itself has had many occupants and business over the years. Housing for cobblers, seamstresses, naval officers, and many others and businesses from retail, antiques, real-estate to its last occupant a lawyer’s office. From the Bay window you will see the Historic St Mary's Church as well as a glimpse of Newport harbor, restaurants and even the Wave statue. It’s been remodeled with new amenities & bedding for an awesome guest experience in the City by the Sea Newport! Keep in mind this is a city central location and you will hear the sounds of this vibrant city.

This property has 2 other separate units all with free parking for our guest. Your suite has a separate private 1st floor location with a small entry deck area to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.
We ask our guest to be respectful of their neighbors in the property and around the property. We have strict parking rules that we expect to be followed and loud obnoxious behavior is not allowed and will lead to eviction.

Other things to note
Although we have coveted parking, we can not accommodate oversized Pickup trucks, so please plan your trip accordingly.

After living in Newport, RI for a few years back in the late 80's the beautiful city by the sea drew me back in 2014. Originally a tenant in my property, I am now the proud owner of a very unique Victorian house in the heart of the city. When I am not hosting guest from around the world, I am hopefully traveling around the world. To pay the bills, I work in the insurance industry. As I get older, the old adage still holds true today... work hard and play hard...and now, I just want to play more!
