  • My family and I had a very nice time at Bravos Sun and Sea. Ann was wonderful to deal with and gave us great information about the island. Renee is the best! picked us up at the airport and was available whenever we needed. Thank you.

  • My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Vieques at the Bravos Sun and Sea Lower Guest House. The location is perfectly nestled right outside of Isabel Segunda, with a beautiful front view of the ocean. (It is tempting to spend all day lounging in the hammocks with a book!) It was a cozy retreat from the cold weather in Boston, so we didn't even turn on the A/C, and were totally comfortable falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean.
We rented a two-person scooter to adventure around the island, but a car would probably be more ideal (for the bumpier roads that lead to the more remote beaches.) Also, the public transportation vans (the "publicos") travel between Isabel and Esperanza pretty frequently. It was really convenient to have beach towels provided during our stay, so we didn't have to waste space in our suitcases packing them. We would definitely love to come and stay here again!

  • Myself and two friends stayed at Ann's lower guest house - it was wonderful! Felt like an island cabin and was so accommodating. Short walk to town ( we failed to rent a car, but instead just cabbed it everywhere and ended up saving way more money) the views are breathtaking, waking up and lounging in the hammock was the best.

I'd highly recommend this place to stay if you like laid back, casual, comfortable.

  • We lived in the lower guesthouse. It is spacy, has everything you need for making lunch. Beautiful view, in a walking distance to the ferry (but without sidewalks) and you can easily go by publico (shared minibus) to the beautiful beaches near Esperanza in the south (10 -15 minutes and 3 dollars per person) so you really don't need a car but it's easier specials if you have kids. We are very pleased with our stay! Thank you

  • Me and my wife along with her parents stayed a week at the guest house, and we had a great time. It was amazing to fall asleep to the sound of waves. The location is good, close to Isabel and the beaches.

Rene the caretaker was very friendly and the apartment was well kept and clean.

All in all we were very happy with our stay.

  • We had a great stay in Ann's lower guest house. Rene, the housekeeper, was fantastically helpful and went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone considering a trip to Vieques.

  • Our stay at Ann's guest house was very enjoyable and extremely relaxing. Rene, the caretaker, picked us up from our airport and was quick to make us feel welcome and at home, answering our many questions about the island. We stayed in the lower guest house that had a great porch with a cozy hammock. The only issue was the low ceiling- my boyfriend is 6'4'' and bumped his head a few times throughout our stay. This was our only issue- which didn't ruin our trip whatsoever. The home was stocked with everything we needed, plenty of beach towels, a cooler, and extra linens. The house is just a short walk away from town, 10-15 mins. I'd definitely suggest renting a car (Maritza's was great) as all the beaches are located near and in Esperanza on the other side of the island. Where the guest house is in Isabel was convenient as this is where the main grocery store is located. All-in-all, our time in Vieques was incredible- beautiful beaches, welcoming people, and cozy stay at Bravos Sun & Sea. Thank you Ann!

About
We first traveled to Vieques about 10 years ago and fell in love with this tiny laid back island. We have had our home there since that first visit! We never grow tired of going back there and so as often as possible. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
