Named after George Nelson who possessed one of the most inventive minds of the 20th century. Among his most famous designs are the Nelson bench, a series of bold wall clocks and a series of bubble lamps, all of which are represented in
this cottage. George at 600 square feet has a stunning vaulted ceiling living space. It is furnished with a small sofa by David Mocarski, a convertible sofa by Tacchini, two Ero chairs by Phillippe Starck and a desk with a Bertoia chair. Open the front door to enjoy the original 1930’s front porch. In the separate bedroom you will sleep like a baby in the Laggero king size bed by Christoph Burtscher and Patrizia Bertolliniand. Goerge features a deck
large enough to dine on George as well as an oversized spa bath.
The cottage also has a gas fireplace, wireless internet, flat screen TV, with cable service, VCR, radio/CD player, telephone, coffee maker, a good hairdryer, ironing board and iron, L'Occitane toiletries, luxury towels and sheets, down pillows, duvet and the most comfortable bed imaginable. All cottages have access to the grounds and the swimming pool.
Location, location. This cottage was steps away from amazing restaurants and tasting rooms as well as the fabulous cousteux bakery. The place is very charming, awesome bed and linens, couldnt ask for a better place as a homebase to explore the region. We rented bikes and rode to wineries so we didnt use our car all weekend. Also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub or sitting at the lovely porch in the end of the day. Quiet street despite being so close to the action. Lukka was very communicative and key pick up was a breeze. Highly recommend it!
This is a beautiful, modern and phenomenally decorated cottage. Super clean. Right in the center of town - so you can walk everywhere. Key pickup was a breeze. Comfy bed, lovely fireplace.
