Bridget's home is in a wonderful location, within walking proximity to the heart of Camden. The location is quiet and we actually saw more of her neighbor, her dog and cat. Both her pets were eager to spend time with us, in the bedroom, and both are sweet. It's a quaint little room that is adjacent to a room where her daughter was staying. The wing for both bedrooms is private from the rest of the house. Her daughter did not share the bathroom with us, while we were there.
My husband arrived having broken a toe the day prior, and Bridget was kind to allow us to ice in her freezer. She also thoughtfully left us water bottles on our last night.
Her cat is not only an "outdoor" cat from the experience I've had with friend's cats not allowed inside - Bridget's cat is in during inclement weather and at night. I made the poor and silly assumption based on my past experience, that my cat allergies wouldn't be an issue because of the listing discription. Again her pets are super friendly, and sweet, and they just wanted company with us. The door to the bedroom doesn't latch close, but a hook and eye has been installed inside the room, if you'd like to keep the door from swinging open, while in the room. Because the room is small, the two highboys and book case leave room for a cozy dance if you're with someone, and with luggage. There is no chair in the room to sit and work/read if needed. There is a short, but fully available and empty closet in the hall adjacent to the room. The room is ideal for one person, and cozy for two. The trundle is perfect for tall people, since it is a full size bed, and a great bonus. The bathroom has all the products needed for a traveler, including qtips, and a hair dryer. The shower has a window that opens fully outside, which is another bonus.
Overall a quiet stay in a great location.
