Lisa was a great host, the house was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the location was excellent. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to be back in Ann Arbor.
Lisa is a wonderful host! We had a great time in Ann Arbor and would love to come back. Everything is exactly as seen and actually even better in person. Lisa left very straightforward instructions on how to get in and instructions were laid out, so there was no need for additional questions. In addition, Lisa makes great granola and homemade yogurt.
Lisa's place is a wonderful home from home. I stayed here for a month in Nov 2014 and was very comfortable for the entirety of my visit (including when the polar vortex came to town!). The house is full of nice people, including other guests passing through. But at the same time there's definitely plenty of space for everyone and there's privacy as well as a friendly atmosphere. Massive kitchen and really nice bathroom, easy laundry machines that helps when you're staying more than a few days. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and very pleasant. Easy 20 min walk to downtown Ann Arbor.
Overall a perfect place to stay and I'd love to stay at Lisa's place if I have the good fortune to visit Ann Arbor again.
Lisa was a very hospitable host. The room was comfortable, and the house was very nice. We really enjoyed the homemade granola for breakfast.
Our stay at Lisa's was a great first time experience with airbnb! Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Clean, private, and quiet accommodations with a suite-like room and bathroom, and great location. Lisa was a very gracious host and answered all of our questions. Hope to stay here again when visiting Ann Arbor.
My email stating our arrival time was responded to in a timely way noting that our host would leave a note on the door with instructions if not home, which she did. From arrival to departure, this was a great experience from the neighborhood to the accommodations, to the location to all the events we had planned. The bonus was the unexpected guests from Toronto with whom we had fun and interesting conversations. Our only disappointment was not meeting our host, Lisa, who had to leave town for the weekend. We would not hesitate to book again if the need arose.
Lisa corresponded with me immediately and sent me a code so we could enter the house upon arrival. She was there and greeted us. A note detailing all information was stuck on the door. The room was pleasant and very quiet with a private bathroom.
The neighbourhood was beautiful and we had a pleasant walk downtown taking photos of many beautiful homes on the way.
Lisa provided nuts, vitamin C and toiletries including toothpaste.
Her house was filled with beautiful art, some of it her own. The kitchen was stunning, sunlit and very welcoming. Her homemade granola and yogurt were delicious. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. Eva.

I have lived in Ann Arbor for the last 30 years, and love my town. I have a beautiful, historic house on the old west side, a 20 minute stroll to downtown and to Michigan Stadium. I am a 5 minute walk to the Ann Arbor city bus stop. My rooms are cozy, private and very comfortable. I am LGBT friendly and want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome in my home. I offer coffee, tea and homemade granola with fruit and yogurt for your breakfast. My home vibe is casual, friendly and easy-going. I currently have two rooms available. Both have their own private bathroom, with bathtub and shower. There is free wifi and laundry, a lovely backyard with table and chairs, hammock and a fire pit. Eberwhite woods is right next door, which is a nice place for a walk. In the cool weather, I always have a fire going in the living room, which you will have full access to. You can also have access to a fridge for your food, and if you want to cook up something, that's fine too. I work as a school social worker in the county juvenile jail. I run a non profit organization called Selma Cafe that supports local food initiatives and sustainable agriculture. I teach yoga, and I love to knit, garden, cook, kayak, swim, and in the winter, cross country ski. I speak a little Spanish, I love to travel, and I enjoy hosting guests in my home. I look forward to connecting with you.
