  • My stay at Lisa was perfect. The room was big and i really appreciated having my own separate bathroom. You can relax in her beautiful garden and use the luxury kitchen anytime. For breakfast i enjoyed the superb granola and yoghurt, which is hard to find i guess in typical US supermarkets.

  • Our stay at Lisa's was excellent; comfortable room with bathroom privately located on the main floor of the house. The weather was very hot but the room stayed cool as the house is nicely shaded. Lisa's homemade yogurt is DELICIOUS and we enjoyed her garden and her hospitality. She had lots of suggestions for places to visit in Ann Arbor and made us feel very welcome and relaxed. We love to walk and her location is a nice half hour walk from so many interesting Ann Arbor spots.

thanks for such a lovely review Sheila. Did you feel that the outdoor patio furniture and two chairs in the garden didn't offer enough options for the backyard? What would be more optimal for enjoyment? Thank you, Lisa

  • I came to Michigan for memorial day weekend - my friend and I decided to stay in Ann Arbor for one night. I found Lisa's lovely home and our stay was great!! Aside from coffee/tea, she even offered us her homemade yogurt and granola for breakfast! Too kind - and the yogurt was GREAT!

  • I spent 2 nights with Lisa - room looked exactly like the picture. It was super quiet, so I had no trouble getting to sleep.
The house is close enough to downtown that it is only a mile to walk there - its a nice easy walk, not too many hills.

  • I really enjoyed my stay in Lisa's lovely home. I was in town for a wedding, so the location and space was perfect for my needs. The bedroom and bathroom are very private. I even had the pleasure of waking up to fresh baked scones on Sunday morning, making the "air" b&b experience more like a real b&b! Highly recommended!

  • Lisa is a wonderful host. Her house is lovely, artistic, clean and staying at her place is truly a memorable experience. Lisa is extremely accommodating and anxious to make your trip a positive lasting memory. Additionally, I did not have a car in Ann Arbor and her house is a pleasant walk to the main U. of Michigan campus, approximately 35 minutes. Could not have asked for a better experience and strongly recommend Lisa and her home.

About
I have lived in Ann Arbor for the last 30 years, and love my town. I have a beautiful, historic house on the old west side, a 20 minute stroll to downtown and to Michigan Stadium. I am a 5 minute walk to the Ann Arbor city bus stop. My rooms are cozy, private and very comfortable. I am LGBT friendly and want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome in my home. I offer coffee, tea and homemade granola with fruit and yogurt for your breakfast. My home is super cozy and easy going. I currently have two rooms available. Both have their own private bathroom, with bathtub and shower. There is free wifi and laundry, a lovely backyard with table and chairs, hammock and a fire pit. Eberwhite woods is right next door, which is a nice place for a walk. In the cool weather, I always have a fire going in the living room, which you will have full access to. You can also have access to a fridge for your food, and if you want to cook up something, that's fine too. I work as a school social worker in the county juvenile jail. I run a non profit organization called Selma Cafe that supports local food initiatives and sustainable agriculture. I teach yoga, and I love to knit, garden, cook, kayak, swim, and in the winter, cross country ski. I speak a little Spanish, I love to travel, and I enjoy hosting guests in my home. I look forward to connecting with you.
