Full 2 bedroom apartment available for rent in the heart of the Lower East Side of Manhattan!
The entire apartment is available for $149 per night and can accommodate up to 6 people.
The apartment has two full bedrooms, living room, kitchen and a separate bathroom. There is also a fold out queen sized futon in the living room.
Located in the midst of the best of what the Lower East Side has to offer in shops, restaurants and galleries, it is also within walking distance of the East Village, Soho and Chinatown and one subway stop away from Williamsburg, Brooklyn...you can even walk across the bridge if you're feeling adventurous!
The B, D, F, J,M,Z trains and M15 Bus are all within a 2-3 block radius so transportation is in abundance or you can catch a yellow cab right outside the front door.
WARNING: Please don't expect a luxury doorman building! This is an artists studio/apartment personally converted from a raw industrial space into a living space.
Please get in touch before reserving the apartment to make sure that it is available and tell me a little bit about yourself and your trip to NYC! Thanks.
As always we thoroughly enjoyed staying here! I love Mr. Mings food, which is about a block away, and the apartment was cool too!
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Marc's place looks exactly like the pictures he shared on airbnb :) it is a cosy alternative and very artistic appartment - really well located (1min to the subway / 5min to a big and nice supermarket :))
He has all the furniture necessary to cook and enjoy the stay. (Even a hairdryer)
I can highly recommend the place to anyone who has not to high standards :) Enjoy!
My fellow lady travelers and I (3 women) stayed at Marc's apartment for 4 nights. When the cab pulled up, we weren't sure about how safe the neighborhood was but realized later that many neighborhoods looked like this. We arrived on a Thursday night (our flight was delayed) and Marc was very accommodating and was available to let us in. The apartment was definitely a "bachelor pad." It was very spacious and fit us 3 comfortably. It's not a "high end" apt. but it had all the basics. It was a short walk to the nearest subway station (Essex-Delancey) which was great. On the weekends, there are some great bars within a few blocks. We were able to go out and walk home at 3am without feeling unsafe. We did see the infamous cat in the stairway that was noted in other reviews but it didn't bother us. All in all, if you're here to see the city's sites and you only need a place to rest that has the basics, Marc's place provides just that.
Marc was a great host and was both helpful and welcoming. Responding quickly to our text messages, Marc helped us sorting out some technical issues we had with the Internet connection.
Only down was the cleanliness of the flat but if you are not too demanding on that, this will do the trick.
I would definitely not recommend staying here. We were booked for 9 nights but didn't spend more than a few hours here before we paid to check into a hotel and were only refunded one nights accommodation. We didn't sleep a single second here. The location is OK - but we felt unsafe at night - which is when we arrived. The stairwell leading up to the apartment was full of rubbish, there were two horrible cats who looked diseased that hissed when you walked past, heaven forbid they bite you. The stairway smelt of cat faeces and it was hard not to throw up each time you entered (which thank goodness was only twice arriving and getting the hell out of there). We were so desperate not to stay here we wandered down to sit at McDonalds at (website hidden) to search the internet for the hotel we checked in to. We weren't allowed to tell anybody we were staying there (great when you don't know where you are), not allowed to open windows, not allowed to touch the front door handle as it may break, there was a gun on the table, which we were told not to move, the kitchen was dirty (not just messy), the tub to "wash" your clothes is was filthy, the toilet didn't work first of all it wasn't at all clean and it took hours to flush (which is terrible when you have a party of 5 and are notable to open windows).... I could go on.
None of us are really fussy but I would recommend paying a little bit extra and stay somewhere else.
Nice big and clean appartement with a nice host. We had a hard time locking the door and had to have the aircondition of during the nights because it was so loud and then the appartement got very hot. If you can accept these things we can recommend the appartement.

Location good for exploring Lower Manhattan & Brooklyn. Great food options close by. Good spaces in apartment. The description is accurate and whilst it is a studio space, the general cleanliness and condition, particularly of bathroom facilities, was poor. The narrow wooden staircase to level 2 is not well lit.
Our subsequent experience in an apartment further uptown shows that better value can be found for a 2 bedroom apartment.
Marc's place is super cool! There were four of us who stayed here and we didn't feel cramped at all. In fact, I'd go so far as to say this apartment is huge! It's also close to a subway station and the neighborhood felt very safe. For the price, you can't go wrong.
Fantastic place, and Marc is a Fantastic person. Great location if you're into a hip area and you can't beat the rate. I'll make an effort to stay at his place next time I'm there, but plan early as he's usually booked up way in advance. 5 stars for sure!
