Interaction with Guests
As much or as little as they would like....we are happy to help but will not interfere with their privacy.
Quiet place but with everything within walking distance....shops, pubs, post office, beach and playground for children.
Private transport is necessary.
We try to maintain 'Sancta Maria' to a high standard and hope that our guests leave the house in as good a condition as they find it.
This listing was exactly as described and very lovely. I couldn't have been happier with my stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. The location is ideal and a very short walk to the pubs in town. It was very quiet, cozy, and an utter delight. And the fireplace was very welcome in the cooler evenings. Aileen left a beautiful book she wrote explaining the history of Unionhall. It was very nice and will be a great memento of the trip.
This is a wonderful place to stay! Aileen and Paul are the perfect hosts and the cottage has everything you might need including a log burner which was very comforting when the evenings were chilly. There is always something interesting to see down by the pier, not least of all seals when the fishing boats come in. There are lovely walks on the doorstep and a wealth of places to visit in the area. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back. Thank you Aileen and Paul!I
Aileen and Paul were so helpful and generous. The house was perfect for what we were looking for with all the necessities and that little bit extra. The view from the garden is spectacular and its a two minute walk away from the pier.
We spent three weeks in this lovely cottage while we were doing our Assistant Teachership at primary school in Union Hall. It's a good place to stay to discovere the south coast. Aileen and Paul are just gorgeous and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage has everything you need. It's a good place to relax. Thank you for all your help and all the good advices. It was a pleasure to meet you.
The cottage was as described; cosy and quiet. We had a peaceful mini break in lovely Union Hall. Aileen had the fire set, milk in the fridge and chocolate on the pillows. ! We would love to return and explore beautiful West Cork further.
