The Space

Two-bedroom cottage near fishing village of Union Hall (West Cork) overlooking Glandore Harbour. Very private. Patio & enclosed garden. 50 metres to small beach, fishing pier & boat slip. Built as Coastguard cottage in 1840s - now fully modernised, warm & comfortable.

Downstairs: combined kitchen, dining and sitting area. Solid fuel stove. All basic appliances (cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine, etc.). Upstairs: two bedrooms, one with double and one with two single beds. Bathroom with shower.

10 min walk (0.5km) to village of Union Hall with shop, cafe, pubs & restaurants. 7 km to Skibbereen; 20km to Clonakilty.

Union Hall is an excellent base from which to explore West Cork and Kerry - one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of Ireland. The village itself and immediate surrounding areas are delightful. Local attractions include Drombeg Stone Circle in Glandore, the villages of Glandore, Roscarberry and Castletownshend. Within easy reach of the towns of Ballydehob, Schull and Bantry and the Mizen Head, Sheep's Head and Beara Peninsulas.

Some great local pubs and restaurants.
