What we don't have:
Please take note that while there is a television (with DVD hookup), we do not subscribe to a cable service. This seems to disappoint some people. But like we said in one of the photos, Virginia Woolf is hovering and she'd just rather read a book.
Due to recent changes, we also no longer have in-house laundry facilities. Apologies for the inconvenience.

We visited Montréal with two of our friends, and we were just delighted with Leila's apartment. Mile End is a fantastic neighborhood. The apartment was just a few minutes away from the best bagel shop, a heavenly little French croissanterie.
The apartment itself was gloriously spacious and comfy, with everything you'd need to prepare a meal or relax. If it hadn't been so brutally cold out, it looked like we could've sat outside in the back patio.
If you're driving, the street parking signs are quite unclear, but (though it's little snowy if you're unaccustomed to negotiating through much snow) you can park in the back alley.
great place, amazing location, inspiring books and music, we loved it!!!
L'appartement est charmant, spacieux et très bien situé. Il est aussi très propre, bien décoré et bien rangé, ce qui rend le séjour plus agréable.
Ça vaut la peine!
We loved staying at Leila and Kathryn's place. It is super clean and it has everything anyone would need. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfy, what's more to ask for? This is a fun area of Montreal with lots of funky cafes, stores, and restaurants. Plus the best bagels in town are only a block away.
Kathryn's home was beautiful. The rooms were clean and cozy. The internet was good and it was close to everything in the city. they neighborhood was so fun too! She was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and tips about the city. She checked in with us during our stay and even left bagels (omg they ere so good. i ate 3. in one sitting.) for us for breakfast.
We had a slight issue with parking because her family's spot wasn't shoveled. We risked it and parked on the street and Kathryn said she would pay it if we received a ticket (we didn't).
Overall she was a great host and I'd recommend this apartment!
Great location, close to lots of restaurants, shopping, bus and beautiful neighbourhood. The house is spacious and very comfortable. Love the claw foot tub. The TV was not working but we were plenty busy doing other fun things. Thank you Katherine.
this comfortable and spacious apartment has been our home away from home for a second time ... couldn't ask for a better location, central but quiet, well-furnished and a most gracious and helpful host ... thanks so much Kathryn and Leila
Absolutely wonderful experience. Very spacious, very charming. Beautiful full kitchen, incredibly comfortable bed. Tons of space.
The large apartment is on a quiet street in a vibrant neighbourhood. We walked to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, warm bagel outlets, and the mountain. Naada, the excellent local yoga studio, is a short walk away. Kathryn and Leila met us the first night and steered us to a great ice cream shop. Another night we had friends over for wine and cheese outside in the lovely backyard patio.
It is interesting living on a Hassidic street. We were there for the holiday of Sukkah, and once we had done some research, we found the balcony “huts” to be fascinating.
We had a great time at Kathryn's place. The location was ideal for us and the parking spot in the back made life very easy. Just a note, that there is no cable so make sure to bring movies with you if you like that sort of thing-
We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at Kathryn's Mile End Apartment in Montreal's trendy Outremont neighborhood. Outremont is ethnically diverse, hip, and offers easy access to downtown via the 80 bus a block away on Avenue du Parc. Some of the notable highlights include:
10 minute walk to Dieu du Ciel, one of the best brewpubs in North America.
Close to rue Parc shopping and dining options
Beautifully restored and decorated century-old spacious apartment
Owner very easy to communicate with and responsive to guest needs
Great opportunity to stay in one of Montreal's most diverse and interesting residential neighborhoods
I'll definitely book Kathryn's apartment next time I visit Montreal!
