About this listing
This is a place to come for a quite sejour. For entertainment one has to drive 7 to 18 kms. You can walk around the lake or swim or just sit and read and listen to the silence of the forest around you. The house is heated with electricity.
A small room with a queen size bed for an adult or a couple (no children under 18), a small cupboard for clothes, and one armchair. The cottage only has one bathroom with one toilet and a shower (no bathtub). It is walking distance from the lake beach. There is Wi Fi, parking space in driveway. Satellite TV.
I do not cook breakfast, but there is freshly brewed coffee in the morning and you are welcome to make you own toast. If you are around and the weather is too bad to drive at night, you might end up eating here....simple fare, but usually tasty.
Restaurants are 7 kilometers away. More restaurants and many boutiques & and shops in St. Sauveur, about 17 Kilometers away. In fact there is quite a good variety of restaurants. There are Clubs featuring musicians in neighboring areas; St. Sauveur and St. Adolphe d'Howard.
Not much public transit. Three buses a day arrive from Montreal to St. Sauveur where I can pick guests up.
My cabin is situated 6 kilometers from the Aerobic corridor of Morin Heights - for biking, hiking and winter snowshoeing and cross country ski. Morin Heights has a small ski hill for alpine ski. There are other ski hills around St. Sauveur. People generally come here to relax, enjoy the quiet and serenity.
Please note - I have blocked May, June, July and part of August, since I am planning to travel and am not yet sure I shall be here. So please contact me to see if it would be possible to visit here during the summer months.
See vous avez besoin des description en français, il faudra me téléphoner, car c'est un peu plus difficile pour moi de l'écrire en français. Merci.

Other Things to Note
This is a place to go for walks, swim, read and paint. For entertainment and restaurants you have to drive 7 km to Morin Heights or 18 km to St. Sauveur. If you come without a car you may join me when I go for errands or cultural events.
No noisy rock music please (classical and Jazz welcome), no smoking inside, no animals. No horror and science fiction films when I am home. This is country living, you have to be careful with septic tank and water usage - there is a deep well with good water, yet one should not abuse the supply of water. I will explain.
