Uptown Village in Vancouver is evolving into a very hip neighborhood, with many new restaurants, businesses..events in our parks...really fun!
1923 Craftsman bungalow in uptown Vancouver Washington. This is a quiet neighborhood just uptown from Vancouver City, WA , one mile from the Columbia River and ten miles from city center, Portland, Oregon. (Public transport available) You will find a cozy, peaceful home base, while playing in the city or exploring the beautiful natural wonders of the area. ( Just over an hour from the ski slopes or the ocean.)
I have three bedrooms available and only one bathroom to share with shower and claw foot bath tub.
The third is the TV room in my finished basement with a Queen size futon couch that could be a comfortable third bedroom if you were renting the entire house.
My home is warmed and cooled by a heat pump and there is always plenty of wood for the tile fireplace to cuddle by.
Must love dogs, as I have human loving pets.
No hot tub but I do have a indoor sauna for two.
No cable TV but I do stream Netflix and WiFi.
I have a fenced yard and a nice deck under the Maple tree.
I enjoy guests and love to host.
I am hoping to rent the entire house for two weeks in September…will arrange to meet with you when you arrive.
Interaction with Guests
I f you are renting the entire house I will be staying in my other home 2 miles away and can respond quickly to your needs.
No smoking or extreme partying. This is a fairly quite home...meant for a home base while visiting our beautiful area.
This bedroom has a double size mattress with a memory foam topper...very comfortable.

About the Host, Sabra
I am 64, mellow, cheerful and thrilled to be able to travel. I am a social worker in private practice in Portland, Oregon and live in Vancouver, Washington on the other side of the great Columbia river just 10 miles from Portland's city center.
I've just opened my home to fellow travelers and look forward to making new friends and connections.
Airbnb has enabled me to stay with folks in Spain, Ireland and other parts of the USA. Italy is my destination next year. What a great way to really get to know a place but through the people that live there.
