THIS LISTING IS A COUCH IN THE SUNROOM.
I welcome guests that come for short or long stays. There are 4 bikes that I rent out for $7/-25 day, $25-100/wk. and $75-200/mo. The home lies on a very nice alley on the north perimeter of the Mapleton Hill Historic District 3 blocks from Mapleton, a quiet yet close-in location. It is also 3 blocks from a trailhead on the mountain backdrop and 7 blocks to Pearl Street pedestrian mall. Shopping with a grocery, coffee house and small scale retail is 5 blocks.
Rm. 1 is a regular separate room. You walk through Rm. 3 to access Rm. 2. There is a privacy curtain along the path to the door to Rm. 2. This has worked quite well for folks. There is a living room and full bath in the north side of the house where the available rooms are situated and a door between the north and the south side which can provide privacy if needed. The south side of the house has a half bath/laundry, the kitchen/dining/ area and a sunroom leading to stairway access to my room, which has a 2nd full bath that can be used by folks when the other bath is occupied. There is a patio, yard and detached garage with a studio on top that is in the process of being finished.
I intentionally live with space for others to share because I enjoy it, not just for income. Some of my interests-- Muncipalization of Boulder's electric supply with the increase in use of frack-free gas bridging to (website hidden)-free agriculture. Thoughtful land use. Ethics. Architecture. World Affairs Conference. Historic Boulder. Chautauqua Music Festival. I do a lot of mostly functional bicycling (the exception of which is the Thursday Cruiser's Ride) or skiing on snow days, which is very convenient at this location. My profession is medical ultrasound imaging. Neighborhood annual EcoPass that is highly discounted is available and bus service is close and frequent.
There are many contraptions for creating edibles, a juicer, Cuisinart, espresso machine, pasta-maker, ice cream-maker, breadmaker, and the requisite microwave, toaster oven, 4-toast toaster and gas range. WIth notice I can even make extra ice cubes should you happen to be traveling with a cooler! Breakfast is provided for those with stays less than 6 days. I am very happy to share acquiring and managing food as it works out.
I really enjoyed my stay at Lynn's. This is a great value in a wonderful neighborhood. Convenient to everything...trailhead two blocks down the street, easy access to the excellent bus service, Pearl St. Mall, University of Colorado and other points of interest. Lynn is very accomodating and flexible and is an interesting, intelligent and passionate individual who really cares about the well being of her house guests. I rented one of her bikes and found that to be a great way to get around town. Highly recommend this Lynn and her home for your stay in the Boulder area.
It was a delight to stay in Boulder hosted by Lynn! Her local knowledge was extensive and the stay was intellectually stimulating...
I stayed over at Lynn's for one night, but it was a great experience. Lynn was very welcoming and even made ice cream for everyone to enjoy. The shared space was a great way to meet a variety of awesome people including other travelers. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly place to stay.
Thanks, Lynn! The place and the couch were as advertised. The neighborhood is quiet but not too far from downtown Boulder (I walked there). There was plenty of food for breakfast. Lynn was friendly, open, and engaging.
The only downside to this couch is that it's in the kitchen area, so if someone starts making breakfast, they might wake you up (happened to me).
I had a wonderful experience with Lynn! She has an awesome spirit. My stay there was very relaxing and she opened her home to me as if I were part of the family. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to most things that are "happening" in Boulder. I rented a bike from her and she was very accommodating. I had no issues while staying here for 6 nights.
Lynn's house is in a great location in Boulder. Easy walk to downtown Pearl street area. Lynn was a very welcoming host and did a great job of making me feel at home. The couch is in the sunroom just off the kitchen and was quite comfortable. Two other guests were in town for the same event that I was attending so it was nice to have some camaraderie in the house. Lynn does a great job of making sure everyone in the house is comfortable.
Lynn was a warm and inviting host. The space was a little public for me, right off of the kitchen/dining area with no door. Lynn was super accommodating and got me a more private space when the noise and lights got to be too much. The neighborhood was a good one, really near a good trail and near downtown too.
Lynn is a great host! The house is very clean and comfortable and she shares everything. Thanks for sharing your home with me.
I had a wonderful stay at Lynn's house. She is really friendly and relaxed and shares her house with a lot of guests, so you will meet very interesting people. It is a very casual environment, if you like community, you will love it. The couch was comfortable to sleep on and even though it was not exactly private, the other guests were really respectful, I brought ear plugs and slept great. It was my first BnB experience I felt happy and welcomed.
Lynn was a kind, thoughtful host who shared her love of artichokes, her plentiful breakfast supplies and her heartfelt memories of other Airbnb guests.
