THIS LISTING IS A COUCH IN THE SUNROOM.
I welcome guests that come for short or long stays. There are 4 bikes that I rent out for $15/-25 day, $100/-175/wk. Cash up front. The home lies on a very nice alley on the north perimeter of the Mapleton Hill Historic District 3 blocks from Mapleton, a quiet yet close-in location. It is also 3 blocks from a trailhead on the mountain backdrop and 7 blocks to Pearl Street pedestrian mall. Shopping with a grocery, coffee house and small scale retail is 5 blocks.
Rm. 1 is a regular separate room. You walk through the edge of Rm. 3 to access Rm. 2. There is a privacy curtain along the path to the door to Rm. 2. This has worked quite well for folks. There is a living room and full bath in the north side of the house where the available rooms are situated and a door between the north and the south side of the house which can provide privacy if needed. The south side of the house has a half bath/laundry, the kitchen/dining area and a sunroom leading to stairway access to my room, which has a 2nd full bath that can be used by anyone at any time. There is a patio, yard and detached garage with a studio on top that is in the process of being finished.
I intentionally live with space for others to share because I enjoy it, not just for income. Some of my interests-- Muncipalization of Boulder's electric supply with the increase in use of frack-free gas bridging to (website hidden)-free agriculture. Thoughtful land use. Ethics. Architecture. World Affairs Conference. Historic Boulder. Chautauqua Music Festival. I do a lot of mostly functional bicycling (the exception of which is the Thursday Cruiser's Ride) or skiing on snow days, which is very convenient at this location. My profession is medical ultrasound imaging. Neighborhood annual EcoPass that is highly discounted is available and bus service is close and frequent.
There are many contraptions for creating edibles, a juicer, Cuisinart, espresso machine, pasta-maker, ice cream-maker, bread-maker, and the requisite microwave, toaster oven, 4-toast toaster and gas range. WIth notice I can even make extra ice cubes should you happen to be traveling with a cooler! Breakfast is provided for those with stays less than 6 days. I am very happy to share acquiring and managing food as it works out.
No drunks, chemical dependencies or smoking.
Leave the space as you found it.
Lynn is the most adorable person ever. The apartment was really clean and in a nice area. She provided me with so much information and was there for me when I needed someone to talk to :)
Lynn was very nice and welcoming. The location of the home was only a quick walk away from hiking trails and downtown boulder. The neighborhood is also quiet beautiful. Thank you for the great experience !
I was welcomed by a warm hug from Lynn. The room was as in the picture. You can enjoy a very calm early morning there. The house is in a very good position for visiting the downtown and also for go hiking on the very nearby mountain. Lynn has rich information on activities in Boulder and suggested them her guests. I also had chance to meet interesting people at Lynn house. Washing machine and cookers were available and very useful for me. Thank you for hosting me and for everything, Lynn! I was my first and very good experience with Airbnb.
Lynn was very welcoming with a hug and little tour of her home. The house is sometimes busy with travelers from all over the world coming and going, but the communal setting makes staying there feel fun and festive. Easy to find things to do in the close proximity of Lynn’s home and beyond, just check the numerous brochures for events and excursions. I look forward to staying there again the next time I roll through Boulder.
Lynn was very welcoming, and the place was just as she described. It was fun to meet the other travelers, as the place was full due to Ironman Boulder.
So committed to not waking up her guests that Lynn mixed (some really good) banana bread in her room to not make noise.
Very accommodating host, obviously loves sharing her home and more than happy to show anyone and everyone round the area.
Lynn is a very nice, outgoing lady. She loves having people stay at her house. She provided an inexpensive space to lay down at night and a cozy environment to relax in between bike rides (she's got some nice bikes for rent) and she even joined me for a hike up the nearby mountain. I really liked the fact that there were other people there during my stay- all were great to talk to and I even made some new friends! The location is unbeatable in boulder, a beautiful safe neighborhood and her house is literally 200 yards from the trails to the mountains and a 10 minute walk to pearl st and the restaurants/shops. When I move to CO, I hope to see you soon Lynn!
