THIS LISTING IS A FUTON IN THE LIVING ROOM.
I welcome guests that come for short or long stays. There are 4 bikes that I rent out for $15-25/day, $100-175 wk. Cash up front. . The home lies on a very nice alley on the north perimeter of the Mapleton Hill Historic District 3 blocks from Mapleton, a quiet yet close-in location. It is also 3 blocks from a trailhead on the mountain backdrop and 7 blocks to Pearl Street pedestrian mall. Shopping with a grocery, coffee house and small scale retail is 5 blocks.
Rm. 1 is a regular separate room. There is a privacy curtain along the edge of Rm. 3 where you walk through to access Rm. 2. This has worked quite well for folks. There is a living room and full bath in the north side of the house where the available rooms are situated and a door between the north and the south side of the house which can provide privacy if needed. The south side of the house has a half bath/laundry, the kitchen/dining area and a sunroom leading to stairway access to my room, which has a 2nd full bath that can be used by anyone at any time. There is a patio, yard and detached garage with a studio on top that is in the process of being finished.
I intentionally live with space for others to share because I enjoy it, not just for income. Some of my interests-- Muncipalization of Boulder's electric supply with the increase in use of frack-free gas bridging to (website hidden)-free agriculture. Thoughtful land use. Ethics. Architecture. World Affairs Conference. Historic Boulder. Chautauqua Music Festival. I do a lot of mostly functional bicycling (the exception of which is the Thursday Cruiser's Ride) or skiing on snow days, which is very convenient at this location. My profession is medical ultrasound imaging. Neighborhood annual EcoPass that is highly discounted is available and bus service is close and frequent.
There are many contraptions for creating edibles, a juicer, Cuisinart, espresso machine, pasta-maker, ice cream-maker, bread-maker, and the requisite microwave, toaster oven, 4-toast toaster and gas range. WIth notice I can even make extra ice cubes should you happen to be traveling with a cooler! Breakfast is provided for those with stays less than 6 days. Breakfast is provided for those with stays less than 6 days. I am very happy to share acquiring and managing food as it works out.
No drunks, chemical dependencies or smoking.
Leave the space as you found it.
Nice neighborhood. Near downtown and hiking trails. Lynn is very friendly and greets everyone and has lots of information about things to do in the area. Fits description.
My stay at Lynn's was very pleasant, she's so nice and very welcoming! I really enjoyed my stay at Boulder, she advised me some nice places to chill. The house is also located in a quiet neighborhood. I recommend!
Lynn was great! Fantastic location right near downtown boulder, and she is very active in the community and really informative for things happening in the area. Futon was quite spacious, it might be considered a hard sleeping surface to some but it was quite comfortable for myself. There's a bunch of different room options, and everyone else staying there was incredibly friendly. Probably the best option in boulder, I fully endorse, particularly if you are new to the area :-) thanks Lynn!!
Lynn was friendly and welcoming! She has a great place full of fun people from all over the world.
It was a pleasant to stay at Lynn's. Lynn was like a big sister, helpful of giving suggestion, she introduced me to other housemate from Airbnb, and most of them became very good friends. During my travel I had my landlord fleas on me with the deposit. She spent an afternoon to teach me how to type a letter and negotiate with the property manager. She's more like a big sister to me than there is a host :)
Lynn was very nice and generous and her house is in a good location. She was nice to chat to and always offered me snacks etc. The couch I slept on was hard and probably not worth $40/night when both couches in the living room are booked.
