About this listing
From the kitchen you can directly reach the garden.
You’ll find food shops, chemist’s, a tobacconist’s, a gym and a bar nearby.
Two bedrooms, a living room with sofa (a total of six people can be hosted), bathroom, closet, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven and gas oven, washing machine, balcony, large garage, attic. The kitchen is small and you can eat in 3 people. More people will have to eat in the living-room. Common terrace on the top of the flat where you can sunbathe and enjoy the view in tranquillity. In the sitting-room a modern fireplace can heat the whole flat burning wood with no expenses at all (I’ll provide the wood free of charge). In alternative there’s also a gas independent heating system. Hot water is produced instantaneously by a heater.
Though a maximum of six people can be temporarily hosted using the sofabed in the living-room, the flat is suitable for a comfortable stay for 4 people, who can sleep in the 2 bedrooms.
Interaction with guests
In winter I’ll bring you a sufficient quantity of wood
Quiet area far from the traffic. You’ll find food shops, a chemist’s, a tobacconist’s, a gym and a bar nearby. Parking is difficult, but in the garage there’s room enough for a big car and a (very) small one, plus bikes in case you have them. The garage is in another building situated in the immediate vicinity. In the building of the flat there’s also a common garage which can be used only for one bike.
You can walk to the bus stop in a few minutes. In 15 minutes you can get to both the railway stations of the town, to the town centre (Piazza Dante), to the Parco Urbano, which is a park by the sea where you can leisurely stroll. You can enjoy sandy beaches (either free or with facilities) in Porto Maurizio. If you prefer rocky shores you can go to Oneglia with its pebbled beaches and where plenty of jetties can be used to lie down and sunbathe. This is also an ideal place if you like snorkelling. If you love wilder rocky shores you can go to the picturesque nearby village of Cervo.
Imperia is also a base for the Cetacean Sanctuary: excursions on speedboats will enable you to see them (plenty of dolphins and with a bit of luck even blue whales and sperm whales)
But Imperia is not only a seaside town. It’s surrounded by hills with plenty of picturesque villages and lovely landscapes.
A little bit further (50 Km., less than an hour by car) you can reach the mountains at Monesi, a small skiing resort which is also nice for ski mountaineering. In the summer you’ll have the opportunity to go hiking: the fascinating Ligurian Alps rise to 2600 m. You’ll be able to sight the sea beyond rhododendrons and edelweiss. If you like mountain-biking, there are several ride parks, such as Nava Freeride Park and San Giacomo di Roburent bike park. For less adventurous bikers there’s the scenic cycling path that stretches along the sea from San Lorenzo to Ospedaletti.
Other things to note

In the vegetable garden there’s a composter for recycling organic waste and fertilizing the soil.
The kitchen is well organized with different recycling bins.

The fireplace is nice and efficient but obviously it requires a little work. You have to light it up and you have to add wood regularly. Every 3-4 days you have to remove the ash. I will teach you how to do it without dusty.
If you prefer, you can heat the flat using the gas heating system.
You will be charged for the cost of gas , water and electricity only for long period (more then a week)
