The Space

Hi Beautiful Travelers!

Looking for a nice, simple place to stay and visit Austin or Round Rock? My husband and I have a couple of extra rooms (1 bedroom/shared bath) available in our house for $25 a night per room and $5 per additional guests. We started opening our home to travelers because we just love to meet new people, share our differences, and hear fun, amazing tales.

At our home we can offer you a great washer and dryer, full kitchen, cozy media room, and cute little breakfast nook, all shared. The house has easy access to major hwys MOPAC, Toll 45, and HWY 35, 20 minute drive to downtown, quiet neighborhood, walking parks, hiking trails, and dog parks near by. Lots of parking on the street.

Pet policy: Dogs are very welcome. I have one of my own :) a little terrier mix. He is okay with other dogs, won't play, but will tolerate them. Anyways, i am sorry but i don't take puppies. Please two years old or older only and must be house trained and well behaved "in general". I don't want to turn anyone away, but i just like to keep the house nice so everyone can be happy.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Amaris

  • A beautiful couple with an awesome house! Amaris and her husband were extremely nice. The place was very clean, and everything really well organized for guests.
Mostly, I slept and worked on my laptop and the neighborhood is very quiet so I could do both very well.:)
It is very easy to get to from Mopac. And once you're on Mopac (or Loop 1 ) you can easily get to the key points- UT, downtown, the Domain for shopping…;)
    I definitely recommend staying here!

  • I had a great stay at the NorthSide of Paradise. The place was neat and clean and very well organized. There were pleasant little stickers every where to and space in the fridge for my food/drink. The wifi was fast so I could get a little work done when I was there. The place was easy to find and close enough to the rest of town to let me explore while I was staying.

  • This was a great place to stay. My stay was short but I really had a good time. Amaris and her husband are very welcoming and hospitable and I loved that I was able to come with my dogs. Thanks you I would love to stay again when I come back to Austin.

  • Me and a friend where in Austin for the X Games anno 2014, and we found this lovely house in the northern part of town in a very nice neighborhood. Even though we weren't home a lot due to the X Games, Amaris and Marc were very nice people and very easy to talk to. We were able to make to laundry and make numerous meals in their kitchen, where we had our own shelf in the fridge.
    Highly recommendable!

  • These are the nicest people I have never met! Second time here and they once again have been AWOL. But it doesn't matter in the least…had the place basically to myself which was nice. Great location and all that I need. Thanks you two.

  • Amaris was out of town during our stay, but we were able to meet her husband and converse with him. He was very polite, welcoming and gave us our space. We did not spend much time at the home because of our busy weekend schedule, but we had no problems during our stay. The room was clean and very inexpensive. I was in town to run Spartan races in Burnet, and there were no cheap hotel rooms to be found, so when I found Amaris, I was overly thrilled! Thank you for providing and inexpensive place for us to stay during our busy and tiring weekend!

  • Amaris and Mark are very generous hosts. For the first time in my life I visited Austin from far away Germany and after exploring the city I always had a good feeling coming to a home - at their place ! Great.
