  • Coming to Brooklyn from Berkeley for an August wedding, my husband and I chose Warren's place for its location, its garden, and its central air conditioning. Warren was the perfect host, giving us a wealth of information and recommendations in advance and more when he greeted us the morning of our arrival.
The pictures accurately portray Warren's spacious place (email hidden)d-in family house, not at all like a sterile commercial vacation rental. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware, dishes, and staples. The computer and printer are a great asset (and there's wifi if you bring your own). And the air conditioning really worked to cool the whole house.
Carroll Gardens is a delight, with a dazzling array of enticing restaurants, cafes, and bars. Walking (less than five minutes) to the subway and/or to Smith Canteen for coffee, you'll pass streets of front-yard gardens that give the neighborhood its name.
But we'll remember Warren's own garden most fondly. Lushly planted with sage, mint, basil, and other herbs, this lovely retreat is the home of a giant angora bunny, who reared up on her hind legs to greet me the last morning of our stay. We were sorry to leave.

  • Warren's place (email hidden) to stay. The apartment had plenty of room for my party of 8. I like that Warren didn't charge per person like most other places. The two bathrooms were quite useful for a big group. There is a subway station near by. Street parking was readily available. Warren was very organized and good with communicating to ensure everything went smoothly. I'm glad that I chose to (email hidden) rather than renting a couple hotel rooms.

  • I stayed at Warren's place while on a work trip for about a week working out of Manhattan. The place was very nice, clean, and had all of the fixing I would need while on a trip. I loved the neighborhood, as it was very very close to many nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. Warren was a 1st class host, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and make sure we had everything we needed. There was great communication before, during and after the stay to make sure everything was going well. He made a few different lists of his favorite spots in the neighborhood which was a huge help! I can't say enough nice things! I highly recommend this place!
