A great place and a great location for exploring Brooklyn and beyond. Warren and his family's place is convenient and comfortable.
Although Warren and his family were on vacation we had no problem getting in or functioning the house because of their detailed instructions and guest guide book. Their home is very large and could comfortably accommodate all our guest. There was some construction and things not working, but that did not interfere with our stay. Warren and his wife were easy to reach when we wanted to reach them. Overall, I would recommend staying at Warren's place to anyone looking for a big, comfortable, and lovely home.
Our first AirBnB experience and it was great. We'll be back to the site for more, and would definitely be back to Warren's place. Great communication before our arrival; great information about the house and the neighborhood for us; and great response to the little hiccups in arrival. A lovely home with lots of room in a great area, easy to the city. Highly recommend.
Lovely and comfortable house, great location. Warren is incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had a great stay!
Warren's house in Carroll Gardens was the perfect location for a weekend in Brooklyn. There tons of restaurants nearby and you are within close walking distance to Prospect Park and the subway. The house itself was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. There is plenty of street parking. It is a quiet oasis compared to bustle of Manhattan. Warren was very communicative before and during our stay and made the entire process stress free.
Coming to Brooklyn from Berkeley for an August wedding, my husband and I chose Warren's place for its location, its garden, and its central air conditioning. Warren was the perfect host, giving us a wealth of information and recommendations in advance and more when he greeted us the morning of our arrival.
The pictures accurately portray Warren's spacious place as a lived-in family house, not at all like a sterile commercial vacation rental. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware, dishes, and staples. The computer and printer are a great asset (and there's wifi if you bring your own). And the air conditioning really worked to cool the whole house.
Carroll Gardens is a delight, with a dazzling array of enticing restaurants, cafes, and bars. Walking (less than five minutes) to the subway and/or to Smith Canteen for coffee, you'll pass streets of front-yard gardens that give the neighborhood its name.
But we'll remember Warren's own garden most fondly. Lushly planted with sage, mint, basil, and other herbs, this lovely retreat is the home of a giant angora bunny, who reared up on her hind legs to greet me the last morning of our stay. We were sorry to leave.
Warren's place was a great place to stay. The apartment had plenty of room for my party of 8. I like that Warren didn't charge per person like most other places. The two bathrooms were quite useful for a big group. There is a subway station near by. Street parking was readily available. Warren was very organized and good with communicating to ensure everything went smoothly. I'm glad that I chose to stay at his place rather than renting a couple hotel rooms.
BKLYN rules! We enjoy traveling and hope others enjoy staying at our place. I am a television producer with a special love of music documentaries and my wife works in the nonprofit world to end food insecurity and promote sustainable agriculture.
