Absolutely lovely hosts! Aimee and Denny made us feel like family! Denny makes a delicious breakfast with locally sourced ingredients AND we ate it on the wrap around porch looking out at the gorgeous countryside. Such views! Then, as we enjoyed the food we were able to chat with them both- getting to know the area, and about them as well.
The weather was quite rainy for the days we spent there. Very little beach time but there was plenty to do. We loved returning in the evening to sit on the wrap-around porch though.
The room and its bath were nice- with a big window with great views!
All in all, a place and hosts with great energy and beauty. Definitely a place to return to when in the area.
We were welcomed warmly by our hosts and provided with directions and privileges in their beautiful home. The Neighborhood is rural with working farms and a spectacular view of a lovely river and salt marsh. Each morning, seabirds and cranes flocked in the marsh. Breakfast was served on the porch in view of the river. Amazing fresh organic eggs and organic bacon was served with "better than Starbucks" coffee and delicious tea was served each morning.
The Perrin's were gracious hosts, very friendly and delightful to converse with. Both Denny and Aimee are artists. Their home is thoroughly decorated with their paintings. Denny is most active and held a painting class. His paintings are representational displaying an impressionist tone and amazing grasp of light and proportion.
Our bed was excellent (I'm 6'3" and was very comfortable). Bathroom was clean and fully functional. Even during 90 degree hot days, our room was comfortable at night with just a fan.
This is a unique BnB. The home is a 19th century farm house with an amazing wrap around porch. The hosts are real working artists, knowledgeable, articulate and delightful to talk with.
Denny & Aimee,
Lovely people, beautiful setting, amazing historic house. Enjoyed fantastic coffee on the porch overlooking the most incredible view.
We felt welcomed by both Denny and Aimee. The hosts are casual, helpful and informative. The view from the wrap-around porch is more beautiful than pictures portray!
We were made to feel very welcome and the description of the house didn't do it justice. The view from the porch, shown in the photograph is just beautiful and I could have spent whole days sitting there admiring it, watching the view change with the tide, and talking to Denny and Aimee who are marvellous, intelligent and interesting hosts.
Denny and Aimee were lovely people and great hosts. Breakfast on the porch was fresh and delicious and we were very comfortable in the bedroom upstairs. There was plenty of room for us to set up a pack n play for our 7 month old. We would absolutely recommend staying at the Wrap Around Porch and will hopefully return next year. Thank you Denny and Aimee!
