With only minutes to hiking, beaches, shopping, this is an ideal spot for vacationing, visiting friends or family, "peeping" the leaves in fall, or for an extended stay to explore the Seacoast area. Hosts provide local, farm-raised breakfast or other meals. Visit the art gallery and art studio on the premises in this beautiful, spacious home with stunning views of the landscape, surrounded by the Mother of all porches. Breakfast can be taken in an elegant dining room or on the porch with the birds singing, depending on the weather. The house is located 2.5 miles from Route 1, 10 minutes from beautiful beaches, famous Kittery outlets, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a charming town with excellent shopping, restaurants, and museums, is 15 minutes, Portland, Maine, is 45 minutes, Boston is 60 minutes, and the White Mountains are 1.5 hours. A hiking trail is only 1/4 mile, and hiking up Mt. Agamenticus is 15 minutes or less. Located 5 minutes from I-95, exit 7 in Maine. We use no chemical cleaners, all organic cleaners, sheets, and pillowcases. Pets and children are welcome!
