Please also check the location map, like much of Melbourne, the property is located close to a train line. It is very well soundproofed and trains run approximately 7am - 11.30pm on weekdays, and start later and finish earlier on weekends.

Northcote is an incredible, vibrant, urban neighbourhood. From the great cafe housed in an old mechanics on my street, to the iconic Northcote Social Club, there are so many great pubs, little bars, amazing restaurants and quirky boutiques. Northcote is not quite like anywhere else, and you can spend days just browsing along it's high street bookshops, local designers and amazing cafes.
There are the major amenities too, plenty of parks, an olympic pool, a Coles supermarket and a K mart both within walking distance.
Trams 86, 11 and 12 are within 2 minutes walk and get you to Fitzroy or Collingwood in 10 minutes and the CBD in 20 minutes
The train station is a 1 minute walk and gets you to the CBD in 12 minutes
I have a few rules to ensure that both you and I enjoy your stay here. Not too many, just a few!
1. My neighbours are lovely. Please respect them by keeping the noise down, which means:
2. Absolutely no parties!
3. No smoking inside. You may smoke on the balcony or courtyard
4. The place must be left securely locked up on departure
5. Please turn all appliances off when not in use, i.e. when you leave the house. This particularly relates to the heating and air con.
6. I provide many items for your comfort, including travel cards, books etc. Remember not to take anything with you for the benefit of future guests!

We had a lovely stay at Rachel's place. Very neat and tidy when we arrived. Very close to transport and cafes n shops just on the next street. It was very easy to communicate with Rachel, she had responded in a very timely manner. Definitely recommend staying at Rachel's, it felt like home :)
The townhouse had all the comforts of home and was located in a great spot, walking distance to High Street where you can find loads of cafes and shops. Rachel had left breakfast provisions for us which was really appreciated! Also loads of great books and magazines for when you're lounging around the place. There is a train line running behind the house and they honk quiet a bit, so if you're a light sleeper be sure to bring your earplugs! Would recommend Rachael and her townhouse.
Thanks Rachel - We felt very happy and good thing is place near to all grocery shops and train station . The house was really nice with plenty of space and books in hall. We reached Rachel's place by night 10 and unfortunately we got some basic stuff to manage with . Thanks a lot Rachel , It was really good experience and place .Hope to see this place again . We booked Rachel's property for a weekend away with some friends. She was brilliant from the start, really flexible and accommodating to our needs as a group.
The house itself was really nicely laid out with plenty of space and very close the Northcote train station.

Thanks Rachel - we felt at home in this very nice place and loved having Northcote's High Street (with its great food and coffee) just a short walk away!
Rachel did not effectively communicate where to find linen which lead to confusion by both parties. Rachel stays downstairs where there are two bedrooms and a bathroom (no kitchen /lounge) so is a shared house with no privacy and anyone can enter the house. No space to put our food/ clothing for 3 people therefore the house gets untidy easily. Trains beep all night due to pedestrian crossing nearby.
Nicola stayed in my 3 bedroom 2 bathroom townhouse for her entire stay and I did not meet her until check out. Linen for each bed plus three towels per person were provided for Nicola and her 6 guests. I left my mobile number in two locations and Nicola was invited to call or text if she needed anything at all.
I think Nicola is confused about the trip she is reviewing. This listing is for a 3 bed 2 bath townhouse which is completely private, guests rarely meet me. I am certainly not on the premises while the guests stay there!
Guests are encouraged to check all positive reviews and comments left by previous guests, you will find many positive comments not only about the house but about me as a host also. I really care about my guests and try to make them happy!
Rachel was very helpful in making sure that we enjoyed our stay. The place was exactly what we needed and it was very convenient to get to the city.
Neighborhood was good plenty of room to park cars on the street too.
