Discounts for longer stays
There is a one off cleaning fee of $80 for whole house, per stay. I can also schedule cleans for you at the same rates at any frequency you want.
Your accommodation is located just a short 12 minute ride to the city, with train outside the door, or a 30 second walk to buzzing high street.
Northcote has an abundance of funky cafe's bars, and boutiques. Northcote Social Club is also just five minutes down the road., Brunswick street is a ten minute tram ride away.

Please also check the location map, like much of Melbourne, the property is located close to a train line. It is very well soundproofed and trains run approximately 7am - 11.30pm on weekdays, and start later and finish earlier on weekends.

Rachel was very helpful with check in and out and made the process really simple. My family and I needed spacious accommodation suitable for 5 adults and a child. Our booking was quite last minute so we were very happy to find somewhere suitable. The townhouse met our needs, although with the train directly behind the property it did make it a bit hard for anyone wanting an early night [particularly trying to get a 4 year old to bed]. Aside from this, we were happy with the accommodation.

My 3 daughters and I stayed at 119 Herbert St, Northcote for 3 weeks - and didn't want to leave!
Rachel had provided us with bread, milk, fruit, cereal...and a lovely bottle of wine to start our holiday off on a friendly, relaxed note. It was much appreciated after our long flight.
The house is warm and inviting and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. (The book collection is excellent too!) The beds are comfortable, the sofa easily accommodated us all and there was plenty of linen provided.
The location is perfect, minutes walk from buses, trams, trains and the fabulous northcote shops...
I would definitely stay there again. :)
I stayed in Rachel’s townhouse in Northcote with three friends in March. Right from the time I booked I could tell it was going to be a good experience. Rachel was so helpful and answered any questions I had very quickly. The townhouse was lovely – exactly as described on AirBnB, and perfect for the four of us as we were attending a festival on High Street, Northcote – a very short walk from the townhouse. Rachel supplied everything we needed, and her recommendations were very welcomed – especially for breakfast at The Espresso Room (which we enjoyed twice!) The townhouse was very clean and modern, and plenty of room for four people. Thank you Rachel, and we would definitely love to stay there again if we’re going to the Northcote area again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Rachel's place in Northcote.
She communicated really well and the unit is well situated to the 86 tram route that provides easy, efficient, and cheap access to the city. The train line is also situated really close to the unit.
The apartment is great and good for big companies (three bedrooms, two showers, and huge living room with kitchen, big balconies and yard)
It is located not as central comparing to Fitzroy and Downtown. It is not a problem though if you’ve got your own car. Parking is fully available. Public transportation is also available.
The only problem you could face – it might be a little bit loud due to the railroad nearby.
Rachel had been very well organised host. She provided us with everything we needed and when we asked for help or had a question she came back to us instantly. I liked especially how she prepared the key transfer and that we had a secure car space.
Unfortunately I did not like Northcote as in the suburb very much, but that might be subjective. It was lonely and not particularly welcoming. Also the townhouse was very close to the train station- you fell asleep with vibration and you fell out of bed by the the honk noise of the trains. Maybe more something for students than for quiet relaxing holiday seekers like us.
Overall, we were happy and pleased with what we had. I looked too late so were left with a small choice of apartments for the time after Christmas, which were also affordable.
Rachel's place is in a great location with close access to retail outlets and coffee shops and public transport. The house is of a modern design and beautifully maintained. The spaces work really well with 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets and 3 double bedrooms. Rachel was a delight to deal with and made us all feel very welcome. We had a great stay and would love to go back again next years.
My family of 2 adults and 3 kids stayed at this lovely apartment on 19 & 20 Nov 2013, it's beautifully decorated with little touches that make it a functional home. The location was great for us as we wanted to be close to our friends living in the northern suburbs and it's really in the middle of 2 high streets which makes eating and shooing very convenient. Rachel is a lovely and thoughtful host. The only negative us that the trains run behind the property and they horn intermittently so this, and the staircase may not be suitable for families with babies or small chikdren. We. Are heavy sleepers and didn't mind the noise which does stop around midnight. All in all， a lovely place.
