Great place, very beautiful studio in lovely neighborhood! Nina is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
Niya means in Arabic good intentions. However his name is pronounced different, I think it fits him very well. He is a very welcoming and easy going host. He responded very quickly and is flexible. I loved staying in the studio. Niya got a great sense of style and is very clean. He explaines everything very well and is welcoming.
Niya was very prompt in meeting us and responding to my emails prior to visiting. When we got there, he showed us around his lovely studio and gave us information about the local area. We enjoyed talking and getting to know him.
We stayed at Niya's place for 6 days and it was a great experience! Niya is a friendly, welcoming and very helpful host and always checked in on us if everything was going well. The place is only a few walking minutes from two Subway stations away, which made it easy to get around. Our room was very clean and cozy, we loved staying here and would definitely come back here again.
Niya was very kind and welcoming. The space looks like the pictures and is beautifully decorated with very nice touches. The lobby area just outside the space is wonderful. We were too busy to need a kitchen so the brita filter and refrigerator were just fine. It is a beautiful space as pictured.
We had a nice stay at Niya's. Though we did not meet him, his brother Khem was very helpful in meeting us and explaining keys. Niya was easily accessible by text message the entire time.
This is a beautiful apartment, in a very old brownstone home in Crown Heights. The room has beautiful old original wood trimmings. The bed is comfortable and there is a beautiful old sofa in the foyer area.
The area is cool on the border with Bed Stuy. Alot of nice little bistros and just up the road at 1000 dean street is the Brooklyn Flea Market.
Niya was very helpful and offered all sorts of ideas for where to go and what to see. He met us right on time to let us in even though my plans changed and our flight was delayed at the last minute. He has the room set up really nicely for two people. He even offered to introduce his son to my son, as they are the same age, and thought they might enjoy some kid company. Thanks Niya!
I am a photographer, designer, father. Been a Brooklyn, NYC resident for over 30 years and can pretty much tell you how and where to find anything here. I am truly enjoying hosting persons from all over the world in my home, meeting new people and learning a bit about their cultures.
I have travelled extensively to many different countries over the years as a.photographer, including parts of Africa, Europe, South America and the Caribbean. I still look forward to going to new places, exposing myself to different cultures and experiences. As such, I welcome all to visit my studio rental and explore the Brooklyn and NYC culture.
As a photographer, I specialize mostly in portraiture and most recently interiors. Aside from my photography, I am passionate about design and style. I have an interior design company, Ishka Designs, and I am continually evolving my own style as we explore new concepts for clients.
I have lots to share about NYC and beyond and look forward to hosting each and every one of you. See you soon.
