  • Our stay with Carlos was great and it made our trip very special.
Carlos was a great host. After he introduced his house, he served us coca tea.
He gave us many recommendations with sightseeings and restaurants.
When we got to his house, my friend had stomachache. he gave her medicine and made breakfast which made her feel a lot better.
We only stayed his house one day, but it was very helpful.
Carlos house is great location, clean rooms, historical decoration, and comfortable beds.
l recommend to stay Carlos's house from our experience.
We wish we had more time at Cuzco.
We hope to stay at Carlos's house when we visit Cuzco next time!

  • We had such a nice stay with Carlos! He helped us arrange a couple of nice tours: one sacred valley all day tour and one cusco city half day tour. After that we hiked the inca trail and then went back to stay with Carlos. Carlos hooked us up with recommendations for all the things we wanted to get out of our trip including good food, cheap food, good shopping tips and tourist tips and maps. The room and house was charming and I looked forward to the breakfast he set out for us each morning! Carlos also helped us arrange taxis to and from the airport and has a place in lima as well.

  • We had a fantastic stay at Casa de Carlos. It is in a great location super close to Plaza de Armas He went out of his way to assist with so many things. I definitely would recommend utilizing his recommendation of service from the airport to there. (When we compared to other travelers we paid $45 Sol LESS then everyone else and his efficient driver was waiting with our name on a sign to quickly be on our way). He also helped us arrange a private day tour to some historical sites which we found of great value. When we were in a lurch for keeping our bags somewhere during our 4 day Inca Trail hike we were able to keep them securely at his home. The house was quite charming and featured many lovely details. Our rooms were cozy and very clean. We found that we were quite comfortable and always had access to the kitchen and bathrooms easily and without wait. We enjoyed the included breakfasts daily and found them perfect to start off our day. It seemed like whenever we needed something Carlos was there. We will never forget Carlos and one of our favourite nights was when he made some great Pisco Sours. Overall a lovely experience and would recommend to anyone traveling to Cusco.

  • We had very short but very pleasant stay at Carlos house. The place is unique. It is like you travel back in time. The room is basic, but it is in the style of the whole biulding.
Carlos is very interesting person, speaking very good english and also very good host. He has personal approach, prepares breakfast with very tasty cheese, jam, home made coffee and tea.
Carlos helped us greatly with tips for exploring Cusco and also organised for us great tour guide and private taxi to explore the Sacred valley.
Thank you Carlos and greetings from Bulgaria!!!

  • Carlos showed me his cats, Big Moose and Little Moose. There was another cat Mimi(?) but she was shy, and the small dog Cookie. Carlos recommended me a a restaurant to eat at but I didn't go. The house is like a museum and its in a great location. Carlos walked around in his pajamas and served our group breakfast while arranging taxi pickups.

This isn't my first Airbnb but its the first time I've met the host. Carlos is a genuine character and I will definitely stay here again next time in Cusco.

  • I've been to Cusco many times. But this was the first time I stayed in someone's home, much less a nostalgic old house. Carlos is remarkably personable, has a great command of English (if that's important) and seems to take it very personally whether or not his guests are having a good time and are figuring out how to see and eat what the city has to offer. Our room was adorable with really high ceilings. It was like stepping back into the 1800s! The two bathrooms were clean and worked well. Hot water! Wi-Fi was spotty, but Carlos says he'll be making investments in the house, so it may be improved by the time you show up. But by all means, show up!

  • Carlos hosted us in a big beautiful room and we had a great stay. He was informative, helpful and friendly. He provided us with any information we could need and we had no issues at all. Thanks again!
