  • Good location, close to city if driving, checkin could have been smoother altho we did arrive later in the evening. Make sure to ask for exact location. Good amenities - internet, parking and bathroom cannot be faulted. Thanks Lisa for the short stay

  • Lisa is a marvellous host. We were delayed at the airport and we could only reach her place close to midnight, and she has no qualms welcoming us with a smile before introducing us to the place. She shared with us her life and her view of Iceland. The place is value for money, and we would recommend her place.

  • We just spend one night at Lisa's. Room is small but enough. It's a good option for budget travelers in RKV.

  • I stayed with my son for 8 nights with Lisa and her family and they are very very friendly nice and helpfull people and the perfect hosts for your vacation is Iceland. We were picked up by Lisa in her car on arrival and she even took us to the airportbus at 6 in the morning so we could catch our flight [ no problem she said !] the location is very good close to busstation [15 min walk and you are in city centre in 20 min] shops supermarket [ 2 min walk] Their house is very pretty and everything you need is there and you can use the kitchen etc . For us it felt like home and like we were staying with friends.

  • We had a great time staying at Lisa's place in Reykjavik. It's easy to get to the city on the city buses, and there were two grocery stores nearby. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable too.

Iceland is a great place to visit, and Lisa's room is a great place to stay while you're there.

  • Me and my girlfriend had a great stay at Lisa's place. We stayed during 2 weeks and used it as base for our activities during this time as well as just relaxing and taking it easy. Since we like to cook it was really convenient with walking distance to a store and access to the kitchen with fridge.

Most of the time we travelled to the city by bus where we went to the other activities by ourself. Most travel companies offer pickup and we chose that a few times, however note that the closest pickup (email hidden)44 (Nybylavegur 16) which is about 20-30min walk.

During the whole visit Lisa and her family were very friendly and we felt just like home. Our flight back was very early and Lisa were kind enough to drive us to the bus terminal which we greatly appreciated.

We would gladly return if we have the chance to visit Iceland again. Thank you for a great stay!

  • we had a great stay at Lisa's apartment. it was comfortable, warm, and flexible coming home and leaving. the location of the apartment is great, it's .66 miles (5-7 minute walk) to a main bus station which takes you to the city center. also, on the walk to the bus station there's a supermarket, a car rental place with knowledgeable staff, and a bakery with yummy pastries. staying just outside the city center was a great experience because we had a chance to see locals as well.

  • Just as described. Lisa is kind and helpful. She helped us to find her place and even picked us up when we were lost. We were so glad with our stay that we even repeated. Good deal!

  • Just as described, and exactly what we needed - a simple room, access to a kitchen and fridge, a hot shower, and internet. A great place to stay while getting ready to head out to other parts of Iceland.
