Whether you're on vacation, interviewing with a nearby tech company, or simply need an escape from everyday life, enjoy the beauty of lake living at my apartment across from Lake Washington in downtown Kirkland, less than 10 miles from downtown Seattle.
This 1 bedroom apartment has a queen-sized bed, a comfortable couch in the living room, and a queen-sized air mattress available for additional guests, if needed. Here, you'll have stunning views of Lake Washington, your own private balcony (with bbq), views of the Olympic Mountains on clear days, and incredible sunsets. You also have a front row view for the fireworks show on July 4th!
Across the street from the lake and 2 blocks from downtown Kirkland, you will be walking distance from numerous restaurants, bars, a grocery store, library, transit center (with a bus to downtown Seattle in 25 minutes), waterfront parks, tennis courts, and much more. Kirkland is a short drive to a variety of great hiking trails and, during the winter months, is only an hour away from several great ski areas. Plenty of free street parking is available around the apartment.
Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Perfect location with an amazing view!
Paige does an excellent job in providing adequate storage space, as well as amenities for visitors to feel at 'home'.
Walking distance to shops, supermarkets, the lake front, and several restaurants with different cuisines. Favourite restaurants were Trellis (Heathman Hotel) and Saigon Jade (QFC shopping plaza).
Easy walk to the Kirkland Transit Center where you can ride on a bus and be downtown Bellevue or downtown Seattle within 1/2 hour.
My wife and I stayed at the apartment for a week. The unit is nicely decorated and as advertised has a very nice view of Lake Washington. We enjoyed sitting on the deck chairs and looking at the activity on the Lake. The kitchen seems to have everything too. Parking on the street is easy except on Friday and Saturday nights where a lot of people show up for the eateries and bars in downtown Kirkland. If you want entertainment in the unit bring DVD's as advised by the host. The T.V. receives over the air HD quality television but does not pull in any PBS stations.
We are awarding five stars because of the view, the location, the decor and the reasonable price.
My family and I (three in total) spent five nights at Paige's apartment in Kirkland and it totally suited our needs. Apartment is a corner unit on the upper floor of an older building on the Kirkland waterfront and is a very short walk into town. The apartment consisted of one bedroom with a queen bed, one bathroom with bathtub, a living/kitchen area and a deck. There is a blow up bed for a third person in the living area. Paige was very helpful and her communication both prior and during our visit was excellent, so really appreciated that. Apartment was quiet (no noisy neighbors) and we were able to cook some meals there rather than have the expense of eating out all the time. Lots of street parking on the side, so that was never an issue. I would not call this luxury accommodations, but if you are looking for something basic in an fabulous location with yes, incredible views, this is the spot.
What a view! Sunset from Paige's place is incredible. And everything I needed was walking distance from her location.
Paige was very responsive when I had questions.
Couldn't have asked for a better Kirkland WA experience :)
The view was great, the apartment was nice and clean.
Kirkland is excellent.
The stay at Paige's 1 bed apartment was great! The apartment has an amazing lake view from where you can see the dock and even Seattle if it's not foggy :-)
The apartment is also well located, close to downtown, so it's minutes away to all amenities.
I booked Paige's place in Kirkland from the view alone. Her place is in a very quiet complex with very friendly neighbors. Stayed here most of September 2012 and couldn't be happier. It is very central to everything I need (coffee is everywhere, but I preferred Rococo Coffee Roasting as the staff is very friendly & knowledgeable and the food is amazing).
Paige is a very gracious host and I highly recommend booking a night or more with her. Thanks Paige!
Got there late after a 12 hour drive - key was easy to find and the place was clean and all set up to use--great location --within two blocks of shops and restaurants and within 6 blocks or less of great beaches--very hot as we arrived in a record heat wave and there is no air. Older building located less than half a block from the water.
