This is a small studio apartment on the ground floor of an old stone house (kitchen corner, shower and toilet) It has got its own entrance door, so it is separated from the rest of the house. At the side of the house there's a beautiful garden (park) where you can relax having a drink and enjoying the typical Bakar atmosphere of a real Croatian seaside place unspoiled by big tourism. From there you can enjoy the view of the old town of Bakar and the sea. The entrance to the garden is not directly from the studio, but from the door a few meters next to it.
The town itself has everything you need – restaurants, cafes and grocery stores, a post office and a pharmacy. There are no real beaches in Bakar itself but you can easily reach them by bike, car or a bus (about 3 km from Bakar). The bust stop is about 100 m from the house. However, staying in Bakar is primarily for those people who are not so interested in sunbathing but rather in sightseeing, trekking, cycling, peace and quiet and relaxing atmosphere of a small town, unspoilt by tourist crowds.
