We're easy going so you can come and go as you please, we'd just ask you keep the noise down if you're coming home in the late night hours during the week as we are up and off to work early!

We'd also prefer that you don't use the washing machine and dryer after 11pm and before 7am, just to keep the noise down.

Grade A stay. Don & Chris truly do make you feel at home here. Our weekend stay didn't allow us to truly take advantage of the time we spent here but it was completely worth it. Communication is prompt & helpful from the initial booking process throughout the entire stay. We arrived 4 hours late due to our flight delays, not to mention trying to book a ride after our arrival (avoid flying to LGA; with all the new construction going on, the disorganization is unreal) but I was able to keep in contact with Don the entire time with updates. When we arrived, he graciously welcomed us at the front door & took the time to show us the room even with how late it was. The newly redecorated bedroom lends a relaxed & cozy atmosphere. The bed is very comfortable. The private bathroom is the stuff made of dreams. The shower itself is worth staying here for. Solider is their adorable, well behaved puppy. The apartment is literally steps away from the train. You can't beat that kind of convenience. We didn't get to spend too much time in the neighborhood but we always felt safe walking at night. Smith St Bagels & Cafe Luluc are great places to eat. There are a lot of nearby restaurants & stores to pop in to if you're feeling hungry or in need of retail therapy. The flexible check out time is another major plus. If you're looking for hospitality and comfort, this is it!

Wonderful hosts, neighborhood and home. Chris and Don are friendly and funny and helpful and easy to communicate with. The accommodations are comfortable, well-appointed and perfect for 1-2 people. Everything was just as described and just right. In short, excellent in every way, and exactly what Airbnb strives to be.

Chris and Dons place is honestly incredible. Not only are they kind, welcoming, and good people but their home is amazing! So well decorated, there were all the amazing perks of a hotel (personalized welcome sign, snacks, 'key,' instructions, towels, robes, shampoo) but they made their home feel like ours as well! They're located in a perfect neighborhood. I was naive and originally wanted to stay in the city, but this is even better. Right next to the F/G station it's a 15 minutes into Manhatten. We walked into the city via the Brooklyn Bridge and did everything! I would say the neighborhood is also amazing if you prefer to check out Williamsburg or Brooklyn - cute shops, restaurants, and AMAZING bagels (Smith St. Bagels). They have the cutest dog soldier who you will not even hear, he doesn't bark at all, the best puppy ever. Thank you Don and Chris!

The perfect place in a perfect Brooklyn neighborhood. Chris and Don's house is a newer construction two-family home with all the modern conveniences one would want. It's literally steps from the Bergen Street stop on the F line, so transportation is easy, just one stop to downtown Brooklyn, two stops to DUMBO, three stops into Manhattan. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and shops, plus Bien Cuit, a wonderful artisan bakery that's not to be missed. Chris and Don are wonderful hosts, and made our return visit from Seattle to our former home in Brooklyn simply perfect.

This is the second time we've stayed with Chris and Don and it was just as wonderful second time as the first. They are very kind and helpful hosts and we couldn't ask for a more comfortable or convenient location!

Chris And Don User ProfileChris And Don is a superhost.

We're a friendly outgoing couple who loves entertaining and meeting new people. New York has been our home since 2005 and we like to share our knowledge of the city with out-of-town friends and visiting guests. Don works in the commercial real estate field and Chris is entrenched in the world of advertising and healthcare technology. We are both originally from the Midwest and have traveled throughout the US and Europe, with a little Central and South America thrown in for good measure. We have a Norfolk Terrier who is a trained and registered therapy dog. She is very well behaved, mild-mannered and does not shed.
