Built in 1890, this "mini" Victorian is a block from Mt. Helena's superb biking/hiking trails and 5 blocks from breweries, restaurants and the historic Last Chance Gulch. Recently updated, the Mini Vic still maintains its 19th century charm. Spacious kitchen and bath, formal dining and an inviting living room with gas fireplace. Cozy outdoor space with gas BBQ and firepit. Great location and a great little home while you enjoy Helena!

The space
The Mini Vic was built by the father of two grown daughters who loved the Victorian-style row houses that were popular in San Francisco beginning in the 1860s. Like those homes, the Mini Vic packs a lot into a small space. High ceilings, lots of windows and large open rooms make the home feel both cozy and spacious. The recently remodeled kitchen is a cook's delight, with stainless steel appliances and plenty of space to spread out. The bathroom, also recently remodeled, includes the home's original claw-foot tub, a large shower and double vanity. Both bedrooms are equipped with AC units, but for those who prefer a natural breeze to AC, we recommend opening all the windows at night to get a wonderful, cool breeze off Mount Helena.

Other things to note
We are pet friendly and require no additional pet fee. We do ask that pets not be left alone in the home unless in kennels or crates in order to prevent damage or accidents. We provide a large crate at no cost. Mount Helena - just a block up the hill -- allows dogs off-leash past the trailhead. We provide treats, poo bags and an extra leash if you forget yours.
We welcome children too, but because this is an older home with fairly steep stairs and low windows on the second floor, we don't recommend it for active toddlers.
