Sleeping room for 4 only minutes from downtown. Art driven neighborhood with great restaurant choices only blocks away. Public transport is a breeze and the plants will keep you breathing easy. Did I mention ample FREE street parking?

Huge apartment with lots of plants and 14' tall ceilings in Pilsen. My place is perfect for folks that are traveling with lots of gear that they want to keep inside rather than out in their vehicle. Families must have kids that love dogs and no little ones under the age of 10! I don't have a T.V. but I do have a lot of board games.
I used to host two different listings in this space but I have decided to switch it up and offer the entire front of the apartment as one listing. You will have 2 private bedrooms.
One bedroom has a queen sized bed and small closet.
The other bedroom has a full sized lofted bed and a extra long single sized bed underneath.
The futons in the living room are both a full sized bed when not in couch form. These are very comfortable for groups of 4!
I live in a private bedroom in the rear of the apartment with my own entrance. I will be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with you. I will keep things tidy but expect you to do the same.
My dog Puck will bark every time you come home but he is all talk. I will not tolerate guests that are scared of dogs. Please find another place to stay if you are the least bit shy about hanging out with Puck!
You should definitely stay here if McCormick Place is your destination in Chicago. 5min. Uber.
I charge $59/ night for solo travelers and ask for $10 more per person up to 4 total. So 2 guests is $69/night, 3 guests is $79/night, 4 guests is $89/night.
**FYI I had to ditch the couch in the pictures due to it falling apart. I'll have to update the pictures soon. **
Full access to everywhere except the back bedroom. I live there.
Interaction with Guests
I will be in and out so if you are home I'll make nice! Ask me anything you like, I've gotten pretty good at hosting after 3 years.
Fun neighborhood. Lots of good food and entertainment. Art gallery open studios every month on the 2nd Friday is less than a block away.
Less than 2 minute walk to buses or bike sharing station. Less than 10 minute walk to the nearest train station which gets you to any train you want in less than another 10 minutes.
Other Things to Note
I have one party on the second Friday of every month. If you are staying here on one of those Fridays you can join in on the fun or not, but I hope you will!
Please do not bring anyone else back to the apartment. Keep tidy in the kitchen but feel free to use all of the gear. Make yourselves at home!
let me tell you: Gregory's spot is absolutely awesome. Place, parking, neighbourhood, hospitality. Me and my friend slept in two separate rooms, both nice and cozy: yes, there's no picture of them but this is how they really are. One single regret: we had no time to spend with the game he invented that looks amazing. It will be for the next time! go there and have fun.
The house is great and located at a walking distance from the city centre. Greg is a nice guy, we haven't seen him much, but he provided us with all the information we needed!
Gregory's apartment is beautiful. It is very spacious with two full sized rooms and a huge living space.
Overall I had a pleasant stay there, coffee and tea was always at hand and Gregory made us feel very welcome and able to explore the living space freely and play the game which he designed!
I would definitely stay there again when in Chicago. It is half a block from the bus which takes you to the Blue line and straight into downtown. Pilsen as a neighborhood is very up and coming, cute vintage shops but not the sort of destination you would spend hours walking around. Having said that, I felt very safe and liked the convenience of the location.
Greg was great, very accommodating and helpful for those just getting into the city. The place was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. Free parking was also a great perk.
Very accommodating, very friendly, great dog. I would definitely stay their again!
We had a very good stay. Interesting location with lots of character. Greg was well organized, highly amenable and a very interesting guy to meet. Sadly, the dog was at the vet so we never got to meet the dog. Neighborhood is in the early stages of gentrification, very safe but it's a good walk to most amenities. Highly recommend the "Board and Beer" at 18th and Racine. Location is ideal for those arriving by car but planning to take the "L" downtown.
