This is a guest suite in a private home. Although the home is a work in progress, the guest space is clean and comfortable. The suite has a private entrances just off the main foyer . Space features 1 bedroom with queen size bed, living room with twin bed, private bathroom, wi-fi and a mini refrigerator.
The house is located in a wooded neighborhood 5 minutes from the village of Rhinebeck, 7 minutes to the Hudson River and Amtrack station. Conveniently located to Red Hook, Rhinecliff Bridge, skiing and much more! Rhinebeck is the home of the oldest inn in America, as well as of many shopping and dining attractions, many of which were visited by the guests of Chelsea Clinton's wedding. Rhinebeck has some of the finest dining in Hudson Valley!
Enjoy the area year-round, with fall foliage, fairs and festivals, the CIA ('Culinary Institute of America'), skiing at Windham or Hunter Mountains, Bard College and it summer music festival, the Omega Institute, Aerodrome air shows, wineries, spas, golf, boating, the FDR Library and Museum, Vanderbilt estate, Eleanor Roosevelt's Val-Kill cottage, and other historic sites.
This was our first airbnb experience, and it was excellent.
Delyse and Jon were very nice and accommodating. The suite was very comfortable, clean and private. We would love to go back. Highly recommended.
Delyse was very welcoming and the space was excellent. Really nice furnishings and bed. I think they really care about having a nice place and making people feel welcome.
We did not meet Delyse during our stay, but the accommodations were ready for us when we arrived and the two rooms were clean and quiet.
We attended a wedding in Rhinebeck and since there were no vacancies in any of the surrounding hotels or B&Bs, we were lucky to find this accommodation. The 2 room suite was very basic, exactly as shown in the pictures. We were able to hear Delyse's children through piece of sheetrock separating the main house from the guest suite pretty clearly, but since we weren't there very often, it didn't bother us at all.
The husband met me in the daytime so I could pick up the key. I was in one day course at Omega so they accommodated me this way. Didn't meet Delyse at that time since she was napping.
The queen bed was comfortable, but hard for me to get in since it's very high and has no step stool.
We were in Rhinebeck for the art show so really only needed a simple place for sleeping. It was great for this purpose. Only thing was that the Internet was tough to connect to so keep that in mind.

I always had a love for homes and hosting ever since I was a child. Being the daughter of an interior designer and a stay at home mom has led me to the perfect combination of managing beautiful homes and giving the guests a great vacation.
After moving here from Brooklyn in 2011, I found myself captivated by the beauty and charm that Rhinebeck has to offer and love that I can help others experience this unforgettable little town.
