About this listing
This Ibiza Townhouse sits nestled among whitewashed houses, narrow streets and historical settings! Close to some of the most vibrant city nightlife and restaurants, the location is perfect. The house is newly renovated.
In the winding streets of the Unesco-site D'alt Vila (=the old town in Catalan) you find this charming house with stunning original features.
Housing up to four people, all facilities are there for your holiday to be perfect, including an amazing terrace with beautiful views over Ibiza town and the sea for a perfect sunset and aperitif-spot.
D'alt Vila is filled with narrow, winding streets, surprisingly empty at times, and at other times, surprisingly trendy and chic. The restaurants are top class and full of Mediterranean ambience and the shops are original, artistic boutiques. Deep pink coloured bougainvillea drops down from the whitewashed walls and stray cats mix on the streets with the latest fashion.
The house is made up of four floors. Please take the photo-tour!
The house is fully equipped with two bathrooms, one master bedroom, one top floor with a double bed and loft-feeling, and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking at home or just making your breakfast and storing cold drinks. The lounge has a TV, and the house is filled with magical bohemian details for the true feeling of hippie chic Ibiza.
You are within walking distance from the best of what Ibiza has to offer, and you can take a bus to the beautiful beaches of the south of the island. You have amazing restaurants on your doorstep and Ibiza town is right there.
However, Ibiza is best discovered with a car, so do consider renting one.
The house is self contained, fully equipped and has four floors, including a rooftop terrace and a patio at the entrance.
Interaction with Guests
I'm always available to answer any questions or solve any problems.
There is public transport to all over the island from Ibiza town. Taxis can take you to some of the nearby beaches, bars, restaurants and nightclubs outside of Ibiza town in about 10-15 minutes. The best option is always to rent a car though!
Other Things to Note
There are two bedrooms, each located on a separate floor of the house. There's no door between them only a staircase separating them. The house has more than enough space for four people. The upper bedroom has a double bed, and the other one also a double bed.
There is an unreliable internet connection in the house, but please do not expect fast connection!!
Respect the quirkiness of this old, beautiful and classic Ibizan townhouse. It has some faults and defects, but it's more than 500 years old, which is the magic. The house is newly renovated, finished in August 2015.
About the Host, Linda
I was born in Sweden to a Swedish father and a Polish mother and grew up in very multicultural areas. I started becoming interested in other cultures at an early age, and I left Sweden right after high school, to live and work and study abroad. After travelling and living in different places in the world for many years, I have now settled down on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Ibiza with my family who keeps growing every year. It started with Noam, my husband, whom I met in 2010, then in 2011 came Xucla the Dog, then Katten the Cat in 2012, in april 2013 Pi the firebaby, in 2014 Igor the Confident Cat and in april 2015, little beautiful Noy the sweetest baby.
I welcome people from all walks of life and cultures and I look forward to share the local secrets and gems of Ibiza with you!
I speak English, Swedish, Spanish but I sometimes had more meaningful communication with people that spoke none of the above... ;)
I love yoga, art, film, photography, writing, travelling, good food, wine, flamenco, family and nature.
