Guests with profile info and photo will get priority:)

Located in a beautiful, recently renovated pre-war building on Manhattan's upper west side, the apartment is spacious and very accommodating.
This is a private room within a very large 2-bedroom apartment.
The room has a very comfortable queen bed, closet, 2 windows and AC.
Cable TV/DVD, and wireless internet access.

All linens are provided.

This is an elevator building with a laundry facility.

The neighborhood is amazing. It is home to Columbia University, many great restaurants and bars, and the beautiful Riverside Park. We are located only a few blocks from major transportation and you are only 15 minutes from Midtown.

Getting to our Home:
From JFK-
1.)A taxi is a flat fee of $45 from JFK to anywhere.

2.) Super Shuttle which will be $23 for the first person and $10 for each additional person in your party.
(website hidden) (

3.)The final method (the cheapest but the most exhausting) is the subway. You can take the A train from JFK to 59th street Columbus Circle and then transfer to the 1 train taking that to 110th street stop. To take the subway you must first purchase a tram ticket at the airport for $5 and then a metro card for the subway which is $2.25 per ride.

The fastest method will be a cab which will take about 30-45 minutes.
Other modes will take about 1-2 hours.

From Laguardia:
1.)Taxi Cab- will cost approximately $30 (which includes tax, toll and tip)

2.)The M60 bus will pick you up outside of baggage claim and drop you off at 106th and Bway. Be sure you have EXACT change of $2.25.
[1 hour]

During Your stay:
I advise my guests to purchase an unlimited ride metro card, as this will be the most cost-effective method of transportation.
A week long pass is $27

  • I loved my stay at Britanny's. She and her roommate were super helpful and friendly. The room really is spacious and situated in a great neighborhood, close to Broadway, Central Park and subway stations. I would definitely stay there again!

  • Great hosts (including the cats+dog), great location (don't miss to taste the bagels on your way to the subway), and great room! Thank you, Brittany!

  • Brittany is a polite, helpful host. She even helped me with my luggage, with all my requests and queries and got me chocolate :) Her house is very conveniently located, walking distance to the metro. Though we shared one bathroom between her, me and her boyfriend there was never a problem.
Honestly what i loved the most was her dog & cats :) they were awesome hosts! Oscar made me feel welcome every single day, he was like my family :) i am not a cat person but Brittany's cat is very special, she made me love her!
Just 2 things: the house is clean but doesn't look as spiffy as the pictures & this is a place for animal lovers, else could be tough

  • Brittany was a great host! Very helpful with any questions we had about the city. The place was clean and very cozy. The neighbourhood was amazing. Close to Central Park, subway stations and you can find some good restaurants nearby. Few minutes from all the attractions in Manhattan. I would definitely stay there again on our next visit. I loved her cats!

  • Brittany was extremely welcoming, not to mention amazingly helpful with directions/suggestions. The space was beautiful....very clean, and peaceful. I had an amazing NYC experience and definitely plan to stay here when I return. :)

  • This place is surprisingly spacious for a Manhattan apartment, and it's in a nice location. The apartment is quite old and definitely shows it, though I'm sure this is not abnormal in Manhattan.

The host was very accommodating, though did not appear interested in socializing as other Airbnb hosts have been in the past (up to you if that's a good or bad thing).

If you stay here, you'd better like cats. We quite liked them, but they did not hesitate to walk all over our stuff, as most cats do.

  • The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with your own privacy. Great location and very close to the Metro station. Brittany was very welcoming and helpful. I definetely recommend this location for anyone visiting New York.
