This house and property is absolutely amazing! You have to really take the time to take in the beautiful scenery. The pictures just do not do it justice. Being from Colorado, we truly appreciated just being on open land. Chris’ brother Jim was very helpful in letting us into the…

Response from Chris:
I am puzzled by Kevin's review. Despite a long-term accuracy rating of 4.6 stars on my rental, Kevin pointed to accuracy problems specifically in the listing description and photos, yet offered no specifics bearing upon either. The listing description is clear and meticulous as are the photos. When prior tenants have occasionally told me that the listing description was incomplete or unclear, I quickly revised the description. I want to avoid surprises for my tenants. Despite a long-term cleanliness rating of 4.7 stars on my rental, Kevin cited cleanliness issues - dust, bugs, linen. He pointed to dust on the patio directors chairs. While the patio chairs and tables were cleaned and dusted the week before, I acknowledge that on an open screen porch, some pollen and/or road dust might possibly have dusted the chairs over the following week. He cited mosquitoes on the screen porch, but this is surprising. The porch had a new screen door and new screens installed last summer. Bugs - I acknowledge that there may occasionally be a few dead flies left in corners missed by periodic vacuuming. But, the same would be true for every single rural vacation home or lodge anywhere!. Linens - Kevin claimed these had odors. However, all towels and linens get changed and washed after every guest's stay so it is hard buy this claim.

This home was in a beautiful setting on a dirt road with meadows and wooded trails that were accessible right from the house. The owner was congenial and attentive to communicate with. The house came well equipped. We enjoyed the large fireplace in the living room, a room that …

This place has plenty of land to roam around on and plenty of rooms inside to hang inside and relax. Great spot for a family getaway or a work retreat. We took 5 of our accounts up from NY and they had a good time in the house. It has a great balance of simplicity and New Engla…
