Custom-designed, privately owned condo that is both relaxing and peaceful. Located in the only all-water-front resort in the city makes this one of Tampa's best hidden secrets! The space is one of a kind and comes fully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly want or need including a gourmet kitchen, heated pool, restaurant/bar, outdoor fitness circuit, volleyball courts, tiki huts, relaxing firepit, high speed WiFi ... and that's just the beginning!

The space
Does the hotel you rent from feature a stocked gourmet kithchen, LED mood lighting, or beautiful artwork? If you desire something more artistically stimulating and unique in comparison to the typical hotel-room-experience offered at Sailport - then this suite is for you. This unit has been beautifully remodeled and updated with inspiring art work and mood-enhancing LED lighting. This modern, fully furnished suite features granite countertops, coffe bar with traditonal coffe maker, a dedicated work space area, wall mounted bar, wifi, cable, queen bed with memory foam mattress, and a stylish futon couch that converts to a full sized bed. All your linens for the futon are neatly packed in the bedroom closet. The balcony is your personal sanctuary that boasts amazing conservation views, and unlike most sailport condos that feature low sitting chairs. I put in cozy high-backed chairs so you don't have to look through the bars of the guard rail and feel like your in prison. This provides the best experience for viewing everything the bay has to offer. Additionally, I installed a telescope for you to enjoy the rich diversity of wildlife up close and personal - this includes a variety of birds, fish, occasional dolphins and even on the rare occasions a shark. However, if it's people watching you prefer you can easily view that kind of "wild life" at the popular beach bar, Whiskey Joe's, Beach bar, or bahama Breeze - all located in close swimming distance just across the water. The door also features a modern code lock for your convenience. Your persoal code will be issued just prior to your arrival and will allow you to check in at your own convenience.

The heated bayside pool is awesome. Other amenities include a beach area with tiki huts and fire pit, outdoor grills, outdoor fitness area, full-sized beach volleyball court, 24 hr security, 24 hr front desk with convenient store and helpful business center, and business/meeting room available upon request. We also feature a poolside restaurant called Pearly's Beach Eats. Enjoy food and drinks daily from 7am to 10pm with room service and a full bar.

Note: we are still dealing with hurricane damage to the Deck and Fishing Pier - waiting for city permits to rebuild.
The Sailport grounds are unlike any other in the city of Tampa. This is the only all-water-front resort in the city. Typically someone has to drive 30-40 minutes to the Gulf of Mexico to find such a tropical, relaxing, beachy atmosphere. This particular suite has beautiful conservation views and a very private balcony on that is set up to maximize that experience. This is truly one of Tampa's hidden gems. The outdoor fitness center is available 24 hrs a day and offers a great little circuit to help you stay fit on your vacation. There is nothing like training outside in the gentle warm breezes of the bay and breathing fresh air - much better than a stuffy gym full of harsh chemicals. The full size volleyball courts also provide a fantastic outlet for fun and exercise and they have lights for playing at night. However, if relaxation is what you crave you can fish off the pier, relax under a tiki hut in the beach area, catch some rays at the pool, or take it all in at the sun deck.

Sailport is central, convenient and beachy. 3 minutes to the airport, 5 minutes to Westshore and the International Plaza, 10 minutes to South Tampa, 12 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to Ybor City. It's the only area in the city of Tampa that feels like you are in the Gulf of Mexico without having to drive all the way to the Gulf. It's also walking distance to many great restaurants and bars like the Rusty Pelican, Whiskey Joes, WTR Bar and Grill, Aqua at the Westin and Bahama Breeze, and the a roof top bar next door at the Current Hotel.

We are a family owned business whose goal is to help you create lasting memories. My Mom worked for a travel agancy that specialized in over seas vacations. My Dad was a paleontologist at Harvard and he traveled worldwide digging up fossils. My brother spent most of his career in sales, and I spent most of mine as a as a professional photographer/videographer. We all agree that there is something magical about the ocean, and there is nothing we love more than staying at a tropical environment in a cozy room with a view. Whether it's one of our properties in the city of Tampa or at one of the pristine Gulf beaches, we put a great deal of thought into every decorating decision so that our fellow beach-loving family can enjoy a tropical, relaxing experience :)
