We are a Belgian couple who fell in love with Miami some years ago. Now we rent our holiday villa to people who also wish to discover this wonderful city when we're in Belgium.
Because there's a large number of holiday homes in Miami, we'll give you a short overview why you should/should not stay at Casa PuMi. It's very important that you find a holiday that suits your requirements.
Why book Casa PuMi?
The villa is located in a quiet American neighbourhood at the Broad Causeway of Miami, near Bal Harbour. You can easily reach all parts of Miami by car (Miami Downtown, Miami Beach, South Beach, Aventura, Arts District, ...).
There's a lot of space in the villa. Casa PuMi has 4 bedrooms (1 with king size bed, 2 with queen size bed & 1 with bunk beds) which can accomodate 8 people, and 3 bathrooms (with shower/toilet). While staying here you won't have the feeling you're living too close to your fellow house mates. You will always have your privacy.
Casa PuMi has a private swimming pool in the garden with sunbeds, patio furniture and the romantic "sunloungers" where you can cuddle with 2 while sunbathing.
4. Easy access when checking in/out
The door opens/closes with a code. This is very easy when you're travelling with several people. No need to make an appointment to schedule the check-in and wait for half an hour until someone arrives. You arrive at the villa, enter the code and you're in. No hastle to coordinate with your fellow house mates who has the key and when they'll be back so you don't stand in front of a closed door. No risk of loosing the keys.
5. Free parking
Very difficult to find in Miami. Always inquiere if there's free parking because this might cost you up to 20$/day. In front of Casa PuMi there are 2 parking spaces available.
6. European standards
Clean, basic interior design. No oldfashioned American decoration, no stuff lying around, no plastic garden furniture, modern bathrooms.
Why not stay at Casa PuMi?
1. If you're looking to be in the middle of touristic activities (South Beach) this is not the place for you. Casa PuMi is located at close range (10 min drive) which allows you to spend your day doing all sorts of things (shopping, going to the beach, ...) and then come home in a relaxed atmosphere without typical tourists disturbing you. Enjoy the real American way of life.
2. If you're travelling with small children/babies this might not be the place for you as there's no fence around the pool, no baby chairs, no plastic cups/plates, no toys.
3. The pool is not heated. Due to the hot temperature in Miami all year round it's nice to cool down in the pool.

See you in Miami!
very huge and stylish living room. very spasious apartment with a nice yard. but a little bit older than it apears on the photos.anyway we enjoyed)
This place was gorgeous! 7 of my friends spent a week here and it was everything we wanted it to be. We bought tons of food, grilled everyday, and swam in the clean pool. Little bottles of shampoo and body gel helped for the first day when we didn't want to unpack yet.
While this is not close to South Beach (the more 'happening' beach nearby clubs), the drive down to South Beach is gorgeous, and we had a few athletes in our group who liked running along the north Miami finger islands every morning (not sure what else to call them). Also, seriously, do your research. Parking by South Beach can be as cheap as $6 for 6 hours. You just have to look for it, or, in our case, luck upon it. Don't consider this venue if you don't have a car.
Florida note: Make sure to bring change, the $1 tolls out here are quicker if you have change and you don't have a SunPass (no EZ pass down here).
Thanks Annelies! We had a great time.
I rented this the week before Thanksgiving and got it at a moderate rate. It was a get-together for me and my colleagues after about 5 years or so and we really enjoyed the stay. The house and interior are very clean, and as advertised - they look as good as they are on the airbnb website pictures. The kitchen has pretty much of all dishes you need for basic cooking. (You might want to get a Scotchbrite and a small dish liquid though.) Annlies was very supportive and super prompt and detailed to our questions regarding the stay.
One thing if I could recommend was to add water taps to one or more bathrooms (especially required if you have kids) - but let me clarify, they all are equipped with showers though. So if you don't mind lacking the taps, this should be of no concern to you.
Overall very much recommended!
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
