The Exchange Building, completed in 1910 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, was refitted in 1996 to house 202 attractive efficiencies, one and two bedroom apartments, penthouses, and handicap equipped units. While the building has undergone a series of renovations, every effort has been made to preserve its historic features, such as the original mosaic tiles, an early-1900’s era Tennessee marble staircase, the elaborate plasterwork, and the granite surfaces. The towering marble ceilings of the lobby exude the elegance of downtown living.

The place was just as advertised, but perfect for the needs of 3 guys on a visit to Memphis. Didn't meet Sardor, but the woman I dealt with - Nina was great. Really awesome view from the 17th floor as well and you can't beat the price.
Very safe and clean apartment just as described. Sador made sure we had clean linens and airbeds to sleep on, Enjoyed my stay, Would recommend to a friend.
The listing was exactly as i expected. It was exactly what i needed. Charlie was a great help too once we got to the location.
This was a great unfurnished apt. We didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The neighborhood was safe, the apt was clean. He has blinds on the windows, a light in the kitchen and a shower curtain. So it worked out perfectly. Sardor was not there when we got there, but we were in contact with this assistant Charlie. She was great. Awesome visit!
Sardor and his brother and his assistant make a very effective team. They were great with communication and were very helpful and accommodating. The apartment is as advertised - completely bare bones. If you intend to sleep in one of the bedrooms, bring a lamp. If you like to sleep in, bring something to cover the windows, as it was bright by 6am with the blinds shut. Short walk to Beale street; this would be a great place for young travelers looking to save a few bucks.
Awsome deal for a place to stay in a great location!!! Apartment was clean and well maintained and I really appreciate the air mattress. Can't go wrong here and staff was very hospitable and friendly.
Didnt get a chance to meet Sardor, but his brother Sarvar and hostess/assistant Charlie more than made up for his absence, and matched the hospitality that many travellers before us have described earlier.
The apptt 1712 was just as advertised : bare bones, not even paper cups.
But clean, well maintained, and nice view of the riverfront and the street.
good new renovated bathroom,
The air mattress was surprisingly comfortable,
The aircon was a bit noisy though.
Perfect to spend the night after partying at the Beale St which is walking distance. Would love to stay here whenever we come to Memphis.
this apartment was perfect! super clean and great location! everyone was helpful in the booking and checking in and out process.
appartement like description. no furniture but cheap! very well organized and the view from 17th floor over Mississippi was amazing.
We had a great time in Memphis, the location was perfect - so close to everything we wanted to see - it was only a few blocks down from Beale Street. But luckily it was far enough that you couldn't here all the partying.
Our neighbor decided to have a party on one of the nights but they were really good fun and kind so no complaints.
We checked in early and the response time to messages and calls were great. There was always someone at the apartment block so it felt very safe and the rooms were good sizes.
Yes they were empty - we requested two air mattresses and a shower curtain, but that that is how they were advertised - so really no surprise there. There's aircon, blinds and an elevator.
It was great for what we needed, we would definitely come back.
