Our hostess was very welcoming. She had a bowl of fresh cherries, chocolates and peppers waiting for us in our suite. The suite was exactly as the photos show, very comfortable and immaculate.
The neighborhood was fantastic. The house is up on a hill with jaw dropping views. It was about 10 minutes into town by car.
Jennifer was very easy to communicate with. We felt like one big family sitting down to breakfast together.
We would definitely return and would recommend this listing to others.
Jennifer was a great host! She had a few snacks available for us on arrival which was a very thoughtful treat considering we got delayed in Seattle traffic and arrived later than we had told her! She was very understanding and gave us a bunch of options re: where to go for dinner and suggestions about what to do in Portland. Her place was lovely and we enjoyed the soaker tub! Great place to relax after busy days touring Portland.
Jennifer could not have been a better host. The neighborhood is close to restaurants and shopping on 23rd st. The neighborhood is also a wonderful place for walking and jogging. The beautiful room and bathroom are immaculate and I flt like I was staying in a private apartment.
Jennifer was a wonderful host. Her house is amazing! In the hills, it felt like staying at a nice villa in a nature park. The master suite was very nice and cozy. The bathroom, tub, shower are very clean. Definitely recommend for anyone or couple to stay at her place.
Great spot. Beautiful home. All you need. Host was very nice and helpful. I'd recommend to anyone.
Great stay for our first Airbnb. The master suite was perfect with lots of light, air flow, and an open private deck - like being in a douglas fir tree house, plus a great location. Our host, Jennifer, was especially accomodating. We would definately book this property again
Jennifer is a wonderful host and made us feel completely welcome into her stunningly beautiful home. This was our first visit to Portland and Jennifer was fully of great suggestions on what to do to capture the essence of the city in our short time we had to stay. Jennifer recommended that we head over to NW 23rd and wander the street and then find a place for dinner After visiting a number of unique shops we stopped at Papa Haydn for dinner, the service was wonderful and the food even better. The place with the longest line up was Salt and Straw an Ice Cream place. We tried four favours, my favourite being Arbequina Olve Oil.
We be back to Oregon and to Portland and would stay again at Jennifer's place if it is available.

About me: I'm an outgoing, friendly, accommodating, upbeat, active, fit (golf/tennis/bicycling/swimming/design consultant), busy, 40's professional female. I look forward to hosting those new to Portland, lovers of Portland, those visiting family & friends in Portland and those who are here on work-related assignments.
I enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life. I am also interested in hearing snip-bits of journeys as they relate to Culture/Cuisine/Successes and Challenges in one's life. I relate well with any and all ages. Listening & sharing stories from others' experience is a wonderful way of connecting and one of the best ways of learning/growing and enriching each of our paths.
My home is open to those visiting Portland for longer durations of stay.
Just an FYI: My home is going on the market! Eventhough, I will still be accepting reservations. Please note: Once listed in December/January, the house will be Open 1 or 2 Sunday afternoons for viewing (2-3 hrs) each month until sold. This may or may not be during the time of stay you are seeking. Also, there may be a possible showing for up to 20-minutes by appointment. For Guests who are here during those times, you are welcome to be at the house during the Opens. All I ask is that the bedroom door be open for viewing. Myself or my Broker will accompany anyone viewing the occupied bedroom/bath. I hope this does not in any way discourage you from inquiring about a stay. Please let me know of any concerns. I will be happy to work with you in accommodating this request. Thank you.
