Super central location, walking distance from 95% of what is worth seeing in Rome. Large rooms, wifi, soundproof windows and plenty of space make up for the somehow old furniture and basic kitchen and bathroom. No luxury for sure, value for money indeed. Antonino was kind and helpful.
Antonino is a wonderful host and his apartment worked very well for my family of four. The apartment is central, spacious, clean, has all the necessities during travel. Antonino thoughtfully arranged for our transportation, and the driver Antonio was very pleasant and reliable. I highly recommend Antonino's apartment for your travel in Rome.
What a wonderful place. We walked everywhere. There are beautiful cafes and delis about 100m to the right of the building, and at the base of the apartment is the most fantastic authentic Italian restaurant (Taverna Ripetta) that had the most amazing food! If you are going to Rome, this is the place to stay!
Antonio had everything we needed with coffee and other essentials. He organised a driver to pick us up at the airport.
It was a wonderful experience. I loved Rome and I bet much of it was to do with where we stayed.
The location is excellent. We walked everywhere. Trastevere to Vatican City and down the street to piazzas and shopping. A lot of space to unwind. The bed is comfortable. Hot water not a problem. Wireless connection excellent so long as you stayed in the living/kitchen area. The owner of the building has installed a chair lift which I thought was nice for those who could not make the 52 steps up and down the staircase each day.
Antonio was accessible to us when we had needs about our stay.
Great location. Friendly helpful host and fabulous holiday.
Antonino's flat was good sized and centrally located. It was easy to walk to shops, the Spanish Steps and the river. The bathroom and kitchen were both clean. The sole bed in the apartment was comfortable. There was also a sofa bed and a foldable/roll-away bed. The sofa bed was as comfortable as you would expect a sofa bed to be.
Antonio was a very attentive and thoughtful host. There were various brochures and guidebooks in his place in case we needed them. He was also very flexible and willing to accommodate requests wherever possible. The apartment was very centrally located - well within walking distance of major attractions in Rome. We really enjoyed our stay with Antonio!
Wonderful, just absolutely perfect. The room, the bath and the home were lovely: spacious, light, nicely decorated and super clean. Very safe and convenient location; I could catch a bus in front of the building that dropped me at Vatican City or connected to other bus routes and the metro for other locations, or sometimes I just walked.
The best thing though was the family, so welcoming and helpful, they made me feel like an old friend who had come to visit! I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
It was splendid to stay at Antonino's place. It's comfortable, has everything you need and, most importantly, is so incredibly centrally located that even our Roman friends were impressed. Antonino was a very nice host, precise, informative and pleasant. When in Rome, stay here.
We arrived a little earlier than planned into Rome and with a quick call to our wonderful host Antonino happily came to meet us at the apartment and let us in. Its on the 3rd floor with no elevator but we managed and Antonino offered to help which was lovely because our bags were heavy. The apartment was huge it was the wjole floor overlooking the street with large windows with shutters so you had extra noise and light buffering. The property was spacious and well equipped with a really high bed which was comfortable. There was heating and cooling but we needed neither good hot water and pressure the wifi was also pretty decent. Full sized stove and oven and a nice sized fridge certainly cobered our needs for self contained for a week in Rome. Easy to use washing machine and a large bathroom maybe needs a new screen but that a small complaint .One suggestion would be the Tv needs replacing the colour was fairly ordinary. Antonino was lovely with information about the area with maps and was more than willing to help answer any questions or suggestions. The property was perfectly located a 10 min and easy walk from Spagna metro though the amount of people aroind the Spanish steps made it awkward with luggage. Bus stop right at the door to the main sights and a 20 minute walk across the river to the Vatican. We walked everywhere shopping nearby for everything you need for your stay and to get around. Would definitely stay here again loved it.
