There is a lot going on in all seasons in Sonoma, The Tuesday evening Farmers Market is not to be missed; we also have a Friday morning Farmers Market where you can spot many of the town chefs planning their meals. There is an art museum and two small history museums to see as well as the historic mission, the Vallejo house and some interesting wine-related museums. We hope you enjoy our house, the town and neighborhood as much as we do.
Guests are welcome to use any of the outdoor areas. We have a very nice courtyard were they may want to have coffee in the morning or maybe a glass of wine in the evening.
If you are here on Tuesday Evenings during the Summer and Fall we would really recommend that you visit our Farmers Market which is held in the Central Plaza. It's quite the social event. This was a great place to stay - comfortable room, and very close to the Plaza. Pat and Bobbie were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!
Bobbie and Pat have a wonderful home that is perfectly located for exploring Sonoma by foot. I had a short stay with them but they were very welcoming and provided wonderful recommendations for food.
Pat received us and was very warm and welcoming. He showed us around the house and our room. When I asked him where I can find a place to rent a bike, he actually offered his own. I thought that was a really kind gesture. But alas! I got sick, so I couldn't ride the bike. But he was kind enough to offer some electrolytes. We met Bobbie later in the evening and she seemed very affable. Would definitely stay here again.
About the Host, Bobbie And Pat
Pat and I love to bicycle, garden and read. And share our town of Sonoma with guests. Lots to do here in addition to wine tasting. We love Sonoma, there is a real sense of community here and a more relaxed pace of life. We've lived in Sonoma since 1999 and can direct you to some of the best places to eat, drink and play. We can also suggest bicycle and hiking routes that we enjoy.
