It has a newly renovated bathroom, a queen-size bed and a kitchen corner with a fridge, a microwave oven, hot plate for cooking, and a coffee machine. It has air conditioning, cable TV and wifi iron and iron board.

It's one minute away from the C-line, 10 minitues away from (email hidden)ere are coffee shops, laundries and several restaurants in this lovely brownstone area. The apartment is close to several parks, the Children's museum and other popular parts of Brooklyn such as Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, etc.

Guests will have clean sheets and towels when they first check-in and lots of recommendations for places to eat, have coffee, etc.

The area is filled with plenty of restaurants and cafes or you can take the subway(C Train ) which is a half a block away from studio and only minutes away from times square

  • We loved staying here! The apartment is so private and the patio is an amazing treat. It was small but had everything we needed and is perfect for a couple. The subway is insanely close and everything you need from groceries and beer is right in the neighbourhood, including a 24hr convenience store right at the corner. No bars and restaurants really close by but the subway is so close it's easy to get around. Overall we had a great stay and loved the place. Will definitely be staying there again on another visit. Thanks Althea!

  • The host was responsive when I booked. But when I wasn't able to gain access to the apartment with the keys left for me, I could not reach her and had to stay with a friend instead.

  • Althea was very accommodating. Great studio apt in Brooklyn. NY natives were very impressed by the space. This is going to be my go to place for all my trips to NY.

  • Awesome. The room was very clean and cozy. It was just what I was looking for. I loved having access to the private rooftop. I loved the way it was decorated and I loved overlooking the streets of Brooklyn from the rooftop. Althea was very friendly and helpful. Access to the C train was a very quick walk from the door. We took the C train to times square and had a blast.

  • The flat is good, the terrace is great for summer we couldnt' enjoy it cause the weather wasn't good. The best is the bed, it's big and very confortable.
We didn`t see Althea, the first day a man gave us the keys and he left. He didn`t give us any advice or explanation about the apartment, the neighborhood or the city. It would be great if the next time he does.

  • The key was left in a mailbox and I got two phone calls about making sure I got in the building okay. Once in, the place was very small but the bed was big and the wi-fi worked fine. Upon entering the residence there was very little in terms of amenities but if you call Althea she may provide these things. (We didn't bother calling because we just picked up stuff from the corner store.) If you're planning to spend all your non-sleeping time outside your airbnb then this is an inexpensive place to stay that is super close to the subway.

  • Althea's place was Fab. I was visiting new york from London for 10 days and her place was perfect for me. On my arrival i called Althea who told me where the key was and i let myself in. She was a great host, always available on the phone and helped with whatever issue i had promptly. when i first arrived i couldn't figure out how to work the heater and she was over within a couple of minutes. The room itself is smaller than it looks like in the pictures, non the less big enough for me and equipped with everything i needed for my stay. iron and ironing board, cable tv, super fast wifi. literally 1 min from the subway and 10mins to manhattan. the studio is on the top floor so you basically have your own privacy. the area was safe with various options for food. Althea was very friendly and a great help through out my stay and id definitely stay there again.

  • Nice apt overall. But facing the street. If you are a city dweller you will love it. I am not. It was very noisy! It is nearby Mc D's and lots of activity until very late at night. Apt has nice TV and kitchen set up and could easily handle a couple with one extra on the futon. No closet.
