Elegant apartment provided with anything you might need during your stay. Located in a quite street in the historic centre of Siena and 100m away from the main bus stop for connections to Firenze, Roma and other destinations. The apartment is in a historical noble palace, recently renovated, along one of the main streets of Siena. Free parking available at 400m. A/C, WI-FI and washing machine. Ideal for 2 people, can accommodate up to 3. Please note: not suitable for people with mobility issues.

A fully furnished apartment on the first floor (second floor, for American guests) in a former noble residence and listed building in Via dei Montanini, in the pedestrian area of the historic centre of Siena.
The location: The building is of historical interest and has been recently restored, as has the apartment. Situated right around the corner from Piazza Gramsci, the main bus stop for any day trips you wish to do during your stay.
A pleasant walk through the main shopping area of Siena (Via dei Montanini and Via Banchi di Sopra) will lead you to Piazza del Campo and the Duomo (Cathedral) in about 10 minutes.
The train station is easily reachable via taxi (about €15 plus luggage fee, taxi station in Piazza Matteotti, 200 m away), bus (from Piazza Gramsci or Piazza del Sale), walking (15 mins). You will be able to see more detailed info on how to reach the apartment on your booking details page.
The apartment is 1 min walking from La Lizza and 5 mins from La Fortezza, two beautiful public green spaces where you can have nice walks with stunning views over Siena and the surrounding hills.
Via dei Montanini is a central pedestrian street (only residents are allowed to get in there by car). There are many shops, bars, grocers and small supermarkets. The neighbourhood is very quiet and families have been living in the area for generations.
The apartment: Comfortable living room; bedroom in the mezzanine above the living; bathroom with window and shower stall; fully equipped kitchenette with induction hob. The single beds can be pushed together to make a double bed (double linens and blankets provided). The washing machine and clothesline are in the light-well. A/C available. Hairdryer, American coffee machine, boiler, toaster, microwave oven, iron and ironing board provided.
Please note the apartment has 3 internal levels and is therefore not suitable if you have any mobility issues.

In the past, we noticed that some guests set A/C at 18° C and then put additional blankets on the beds in the summer - which is completely nonsense!
